Golfauto Rent a Car in Almancil

Golf Auto is an elite rental service. Don't bother with the other airport brand names, save yourself the stress and hassle and use Golf. We needed a van for our 6 passengers, and Dina booked us quickly and without issue. They are very responsive and helpful and honest. No hidden fees or trying to squeeze extra money out of you. Luis met us at the airport for pickup & drop-off. He made the check in and out process quick and simple. It took less than 5 minutes to get into the car and be on our way. We even had last minute flight cancellation at the end of our trip and were rebooked on much earlier flights. I had to let them know at 10pm the night before that we would actually have to drop the car at 7am vs 9am which I felt terribly about. Luis happily adjusted and met us there promptly at 7am. It was the easiest car rental experience I have ever had in any country!

I cannot understate how pleased we are with their service, always friendly, punctual, understanding - we have never had an issue that was not resolved in the most efficient manner possible. I believe their strength lies in their staff - notably Teresa and many others whom we've met. Top notch service, highly recommended.

Very good service. After call they manage drop off and pick up on airport. No shuttle, direcly making a paperwork and than you can leave with your car. No hidden fee at the end. 5*

I have been booking my car rentals (2 reservations each year) for the last 16 years. The guide Luis on both arrival & departure has been excellent. If I had a problem with the which I think has been once in 16 years Golf auto resolved the problem extremely quickly. I would recommend them. Friendly & efficient service. Thank you.

PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE! Worst car rental ever. They mixed up almost everything. Also they charge your credit card an extra of 20EUR, (without telling you before), because of a motorways toll service. Even if you only need to pay like a 1EUR toll fee they don't refund the rest of the 20EUR. Scammers! UPDATE: Apparently you have an option to take this service, but of course we were not informed about this! So they reply below this comment is just a brazen lie..). They also let us wait over an hour to receive the keys at the airport (after calling several times), because they forgot about us and to even top this misery..when we wanted to return the car they forgot about us again! So we had to call again and wait and wait... Maybe they just had a few very bad/unorganized days..I don't know, but if you have the option to rent your car somewhere else, please do so for the sake of your well being.
