We hired a VW Up for 3 days to travel around areas of the south coast. The car was almost brand new, only approx. 3000km on the clock, very clean and well presented. It was very good on fuel and got us to some beautiful locations in the Algarve. The car was easy to hire - just a small form to fill in, communications were friendly and it was dropped off and picked up outside our hotel. Would definitely use again. Thank you.
Avoid at all costs! They run a scam where after returning a rental and saying everything is fine, they deduct from your bank account a week later claiming damages. They forge your signature on a document making it hard to dispute, and do not send evidence to back the claim. Do yourself a favour and use a car hire that doesn't have shady business practices.
Avoid this company. During the hire period the car's safety certificate ran out. I was stopped by the police - a very distressing event when you are in a foreign country. They issued a fine for the company and told me I had to contact them and get a new car. When I called the company they told me to bring the car to the office. I refused. They provided a new car later that morning. There was no apology either for the distress this caused my wife and I nor the inconvenience and missed morning of our holiday. Second major issue - I had to pay 1800 Euro deposit when I picked the car up. Most companies just block this amount, they took the payment. It then took 4 weeks to get the deposit back after the hire ended. I had to call them repeatedly to make them contact the bank to sort out the refund. As it took so long, I was charged interest on my credit card payment. Again, no real apology - they just blamed the bank. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Great price and super efficient service. Met inside the airport and my car was outside in the car park. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. Would 100% recommend this company and will be using them again in the future. Will check after the weekend to see if my deposit is returned but all in all very happy.
You can not trust them. They charged me more than it was foreseen. For my car it was 95 euros a day for at least 3 days. I rented the car 3 days and then for 2 additional days. Guess what happened when I controled my bank account? They charged me 3 days at 95 euros... and the 2 additional days at 130 euros ! In total, they stole me 70 euros. Run away from this company !
WARNING. The company charged our credit card illegally, forged a contract with our signature on it and made up defect on the car after drop off. Communication with them is very difficult and we had no choice but engage in legal actions to get our money back after they refused to reimburse the illegal charge. Avoid at all cost and if you do end up renting a car with them, ask for the full insurance and read the contract's fine print.
