I've rented from Sixt in several countries and have always had a great experience. We are now in Braga, Portugal without a car so we rent from Sixt whenever the need arises. Our local branch has a friendly crew - and one speaks great English which is always very much appreciated.

We rented a car from Sixt, in Braga. The car was clean and the check out and in quick and efficient. Best of all the employees were professional, courteous, and quick. you could tell the loved their jobs and working for Sixt
Aside from the cheeky, inaccurately worded document, telling customers that they HAVE to get the Via Verde reader it is OK. They mention a law, but it is NOT a legal requirement. It is a company policy, which is OK, but they should be more precise with their words on legally binding docs. I complained about it but... otherwise, staff is lovely, cars are great and prices too. And btw I checked with Via Verde and it is not law to have the reader; it is an option that car rental companies use but I think the language needs to be more accurate
Generally I choose Sixt when in Europe. The Braga location exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, very clean facility, got the exact car that I had booked, deep cleaned, low milage. Great value to boot. Highly recommend this location.
