By far the worst car rental experience ever! Waited for an hour due to slow personal. When it was finally our turn it turned out that this teenager is not only slow, but also has a very rude attitude. My wife and I were shocked how bad the service was from this guy. In the end it turns out we could not get our car since they charge a 3200 euro deposit! Which is more than our bank allowed. Only other option was to pay the excess cover costing more than 5 times the rental price. So we took a taxi to the hotel. We saw other customers leaving in anger and talked to a few of them - All had the same frustrating experience. Can not believe it is possible to run a business like this. And btw it is 20 minutes from the airport with a shuttle.
Staff here were super nice and helpful. Youness helped us with our car return and was very informative and friendly. The other staff were also great. Pickup and drop off were efficient and there was shuttle service to the airport also :)
I rented from this company during my trip to Portugal. Overall, the experience was decent, but there were a few hiccups. First, I was charged an extra EUR30 for a late check-in, even though they advertise 24/7 service, which felt a bit unfair. The car itself was in good condition and the customer service was very friendly and helpful. However, we had to wait over 30 minutes at the airport for the shuttle, despite the company claiming it runs every 15 minutes. I ended up having to call their office, and after a further 10-minute wait, the shuttle finally arrived. Once the car was picked up, the rest of the process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, the service was good, but they need to work on their punctuality and transparency regarding fees.
Nice service, the car was great. I had to wait a couple of pickup vans when I arrived at the airport as these were already full but otherwise everything went smooth, recommended.
We booked directly through KW, opted for the full coverage. We didn't get the car we wanted but we still got a newer car that got us where we needed to go. Quick process in and out. There is a petrol station about 7 minutes away but extremely busy to top it off before dropping it off. The shuttle was quick, we maybe waited 10 minutes for the ride to the airport. Would use them again. We did see some people having trouble but they booked through a 3rd party who's insurance doesn't cover the KW car, not KWs fault. It was theirs from not researching and asking questions. We researched for a couple of months and are very happy with the professionalism of KW Obrigado
I have recently used this company and it was the worst experience ever renting a car with them. So much I will never ever rent a car again and I would like to warn others to be very careful or *AVOID* this car rental company. If you believe you are saving money you will soon find out you are not after going through all the stress and hassle when they blame you for a scratch that was already there. The reasons why you should AVOID Klass wagen are also shared with others users like myself: First, they insisted about taking their full insurance which would cost me more than 100EUR on top of what I had already paid with with a 3rd party in advance. Second, they wanted to refuse renting me a car because my name is different from my ID card. How? First and last name incorrect? Never had been an issue before! Finally, when they brought the car, considering that the model I was supposed to have was given to the next person and when I had questioned the excuse was there's no more of that model available. Unbelievable! I rented the car for only 2 days and as usual I take all the precautions to avoid any damage to the car and all the stress that comes with it. When I returned the car, they thoroughly checked the car in front of me as if they knew they were to find a scratch and so they did and that was a surprise to me as I had never seen a company thoroughly checking a car the way they did. I knew immediately they were up to no good. They showed me a scratch that magically appeared there and asked if I have pictures of the scratches. Unfortunately, I had lost my phone the day before and so all the images I had of the scratches while the car was in my possession. Luckily for me I claimed the money off the Insurance but I had to go through all the emotional stress to get this resolved. It seems though some scratches magically appear and/or do not get register and so they rely on the user's distraction to claim more money than they would have otherwise gained with only renting a car. I am not the only person to have gone through this experience and there is a pattern that needs to be watched. My advice to new users is, be very careful or AVOID using this car rental. It seems they have systems in place to try and get money off you and they heavily rely on client's distractions like no images/proofs to be able to succeed in blaming you for the scratches.
Excellent experience with the rental company. The shuttle bus was right there at the airport as we exited. Unlike the last time with another rental company. Missed the representative and spent literally 5 hours frantically trying to get a rental as I had prepaid for it . Lost 1/2 day of my vacation lid-154318323653848
Overall service and price was great. They were insisted about the full insurance of theirs but i had already made it much more cheaper 3rd party insurance before renting. When they deliver the car they have not told me and show me the scratches etc just gave me the key. After i returned the car they told me did you scratch this lower corner do you have any pictures ? Luckily i recorded a video of the whole car before get in and i showed him. What if i did not record that video ? I think they were going to blame me about that. My suggestions is that before getting the car take a video or pictures of the exterior and the interior just to be in safe side.
