By far the worst car rental experience ever! Waited for an hour due to slow personal. When it was finally our turn it turned out that this teenager is not only slow, but also has a very rude attitude. My wife and I were shocked how bad the service was from this guy. In the end it turns out we could not get our car since they charge a 3200 euro deposit! Which is more than our bank allowed. Only other option was to pay the excess cover costing more than 5 times the rental price. So we took a taxi to the hotel. We saw other customers leaving in anger and talked to a few of them - All had the same frustrating experience. Can not believe it is possible to run a business like this. And btw it is 20 minutes from the airport with a shuttle.

I rented from this company during my trip to Portugal. Overall, the experience was decent, but there were a few hiccups. First, I was charged an extra EUR30 for a late check-in, even though they advertise 24/7 service, which felt a bit unfair. The car itself was in good condition and the customer service was very friendly and helpful. However, we had to wait over 30 minutes at the airport for the shuttle, despite the company claiming it runs every 15 minutes. I ended up having to call their office, and after a further 10-minute wait, the shuttle finally arrived. Once the car was picked up, the rest of the process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, the service was good, but they need to work on their punctuality and transparency regarding fees.

We booked directly through KW, opted for the full coverage. We didn't get the car we wanted but we still got a newer car that got us where we needed to go. Quick process in and out. There is a petrol station about 7 minutes away but extremely busy to top it off before dropping it off. The shuttle was quick, we maybe waited 10 minutes for the ride to the airport. Would use them again. We did see some people having trouble but they booked through a 3rd party who's insurance doesn't cover the KW car, not KWs fault. It was theirs from not researching and asking questions. We researched for a couple of months and are very happy with the professionalism of KW Obrigado

I have recently used this company and it was the worst experience ever renting a car with them. So much I will never ever rent a car again and I would like to warn others to be very careful or *AVOID* this car rental company. If you believe you are saving money you will soon find out you are not after going through all the stress and hassle when they blame you for a scratch that was already there. The reasons why you should AVOID Klass wagen are also shared with others users like myself: First, they insisted about taking their full insurance which would cost me more than 100EUR on top of what I had already paid with with a 3rd party in advance. Second, they wanted to refuse renting me a car because my name is different from my ID card. How? First and last name incorrect? Never had been an issue before! Finally, when they brought the car, considering that the model I was supposed to have was given to the next person and when I had questioned the excuse was there's no more of that model available. Unbelievable! I rented the car for only 2 days and as usual I take all the precautions to avoid any damage to the car and all the stress that comes with it. When I returned the car, they thoroughly checked the car in front of me as if they knew they were to find a scratch and so they did and that was a surprise to me as I had never seen a company thoroughly checking a car the way they did. I knew immediately they were up to no good. They showed me a scratch that magically appeared there and asked if I have pictures of the scratches. Unfortunately, I had lost my phone the day before and so all the images I had of the scratches while the car was in my possession. Luckily for me I claimed the money off the Insurance but I had to go through all the emotional stress to get this resolved. It seems though some scratches magically appear and/or do not get register and so they rely on the user's distraction to claim more money than they would have otherwise gained with only renting a car. I am not the only person to have gone through this experience and there is a pattern that needs to be watched. My advice to new users is, be very careful or AVOID using this car rental. It seems they have systems in place to try and get money off you and they heavily rely on client's distractions like no images/proofs to be able to succeed in blaming you for the scratches.

Overall service and price was great. They were insisted about the full insurance of theirs but i had already made it much more cheaper 3rd party insurance before renting. When they deliver the car they have not told me and show me the scratches etc just gave me the key. After i returned the car they told me did you scratch this lower corner do you have any pictures ? Luckily i recorded a video of the whole car before get in and i showed him. What if i did not record that video ? I think they were going to blame me about that. My suggestions is that before getting the car take a video or pictures of the exterior and the interior just to be in safe side.

Talk about lying and manipulation. From the start it was a nightmare. Out flight got delayed so we contacted the company. They said no problem we will collect you when you arrive from the airport. It took them 1 hour to pick up. They then said it was out fault for the flight delay. Fast forward another hour. I owing we where stranded and needed a rental car at 3 am. They decided that we needed to pay an extra 250 for insurance despite already paying for insurance. We declined and he said you will not get cheaper. We did the next day for a quarter of the price. Morale of this complaint is just avoid the. Full stop

Terrible experience. I do not recommend renting a car from them. If you paid for insurance through booking, they will do everything they can to dissuade you from refusing it and taking their insurance. They will literally intimidate you that if there is even the smallest new scratch on the car and there is no police report about this incident, you will pay 450-500 euros (yes, the prices will be different each time) for each scratch, and booking will not cover you for anything. They will intimidate you. That if something happens, you can even pay 20 thousand euros (the cost of the car). We didn t risk not taking their insurance in such conditions, when they will decide whether to pay you or not. And they would most likely find something to complain about,like other people mentioned in the comments. The worst experience in our lives. Very unpleasant.

I made a car reservation on 11/14/24, where the deposit indicated was 150. However, after completing the reservation and making the advance payment, I was informed by the office that the actual deposit would be 2400 something that was not mentioned during the reservation. The only reference to the value of 2400 was as a deductible in the event of an accident. Because of this conflicting information, I canceled the reservation in less than 15 minutes, but was surprised to learn that payment would not be refunded due to the cancellation policy less than 48 hours in advance. I find this policy abusive and poorly explained, and I believe there should be tolerance for cases where the information initially provided was confusing or incomplete. Worst car rental experience of my life. They force us to take out insurance at 300 all risk because the insurance of my card (Visa Infinite) does not suit them because it is a debit card and not a credit (I rent cars 4 times a year on all continents and no one had ever made that one for me). 3 months after returning the vehicle they charged us an additional 200 because during our stay in Portugal we had a trip to Spain and subsequently this was not authorized by our rental contract. TL;DR Ive rented a car with KlassWagen Lisbon for 15 days. I had to change cars twice because the first two cars had problems, and they downgraded the last car to solve the problem. See the whole story in details: 0) I had rented the simplest car available (fiat 500), and they offered me an upgrade to a little bit bigger car (open corsa). Yay! Things started great with KW. 1) After picking up the car, I had to travel to Coimbra. First of all, after one hour with the car I had a tyre pressure warning. The pressure in the rear tyre was 0.4, it suppose to be 1.8/2.0. Ok, I stopped and calibrated the tyre pressure. In my opinion this is something the car company should do beforehand. Anyway... 2) When I hit the road to Coimbra, the car started to vibrate a lot at high-speeds (100/110 Km/h). The steering wheel was vibrating, and it was possible to see even our voices vibrating. Probably a huge problem in the suspension system or something. I had to complete my trip to Coimbra and got back to Lisbon 3 days after to report the problem and change the car. 3) After presenting the problem to the staff, and the guys there having to contact many people to ask for instructions (about 30 min waiting), they offered a new oppel corsa. After 15 minutes with the car, I had to go back because the clutch was not working properly. 4) I got to KW (again), very upset, and they said they would change the car again, but they would have to do a DOWNGRADE. For me it was unbelievable that instead of offering an upgrade, they just downgraded the car. This was my experience with KW Lisbon. In my opinion, other than 2 cars with mechanical problems, which can be dangerous for those hitting the road, I had to go back to the company twice, Ive lost lots of time with this, and their final solution was downgrading me. It was unbelievable to me the inability of the company to solve the problems (which can happen) and make their costumer happy. I do not recommend and do not plan to rent cars from this company anymore.

So on Rentalcars app they said the deposit was 2100. When I get there nearly midnight, with no chance to get any other car, they said it s actually 2600. I couldn t then get the car as my limit was at 2400 (definitely enough for the information I was given) and was forced by a kid working at the counter to get the full insurance. This is a scam, and shouldn t be allowed. Imagine you get there at 3am, nowhere else to go, and they change last minute the deposit to 20000. In their own words oh the booking is just a guideline, here we can ask for whatever we want . They discourage you from calling the broker as well as it s too late and there s nothing they can do. No this shouldn t be legal. This company shouldn t be in operation.
