A nightmare!||Unusual experience in an IHG hotel. Checked in late night. The young boy at the reception was pretty very serious, looked at us with suspicion and rejected our request for a single bed rather than twin beds in the room. He didn't welcome me as Diamond Elite member despite me reminding him on that.||We stayed there for 5 nights for attending and lecturing at the ISPAD international convention on diabetes in the young people.||On day two when we were getting ready in the morning for the conference, got a telephone call from the reception to urgently go down. We both thought its fire in the hotel. Rushed down and to our shock and surprise the receptionist lady informed the police officer, who was waiting to meet me. He politely wanted me to go to the Lisbon police station immediately, since according to him "I am traveling on a lost passport!!"||We both tried to explain to him, when two more police officers joined him. In the meantime we realised that the staff in the reception had entered the details in the hotel system from my expired passport and not from my new passport. We showed to the police officers, my new passport, old one with some valid visas and evidence of the passport stolen at Milan.||One officer was convinced and told others I need not go to the police station.||Soon after that we made the lady at the hotel reception reenter credentials from my new passport.||I always carry my old and new passports together. However this grave mistake had happened in the first place, due to an oversight by a staff in Holiday Inn, Lisbon.||I could meet only one lady by name Felix at reception who at least smiled and was courteous to us during check out.||The hotel offers free breakfast with minimal dishes.||No restaurant during day or night.||No gym. No free water. No good restaurants nearby.||If it were not for an IHG brand, the hotel is worth the cost!
Low cost hotel with clean rooms without minibar but vending machine at the entrance (which accepts only Portuguese cards or cash).. breakfast was rich and tasty, though. The neighborhood doesn't offer anything to and altogether it was a bad choice.
The reception desk was excellent, when we arrived was greeted by a very pleasant member of the reception team.|The room was clean with a nice comfortable bed. The bathroom had a very good walkin shower, having disability, this was very welcome.|Great breakfast.|We was on the 5th floor, the traffic noise was unbearable up till 2am in the morning and then starts again at 6am. Yes only 4 hours peace.|If we had not had the trafic noise, it would be 5 stars.|
Be careful in this hotel !!! My things were stolen!!! During the stay at this hotel, the person who clean the room stole two bags which I bought from the boutique with new things, just bought, with a label !! One of those two bags, had baby new clothes - bought for my grandson! This is really shameful and inappropriate for a hotel, especially since it is about things for a baby! When I spoke to the people at the reception desk, there was no adequate understanding. The only thing they said was the excuse that the housekeeper thought it was garbage. Very bad impression!
We really liked this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff extremely helpful. It was very clean and had a modern interior. The only downside is it was out side of the center of Lisbon so you had to uber there. I recommend this establishment.
Unfortunately, just another budget hotel. The Wi-Fi, although in their description, was not working and they didn't know when it would be working again. (not in the two days I was there)|No restaurant and nothing anywhere near (except BurgerKing) as this hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere.|Snacks were only available from vending machines. Unfortunately, they only accept Portuguese bank cards: no cash - no snacks.|Breakfast was nothing special, coffee from the machine was awful and the toaster just dried the bread as opposed to toasting it.|Be careful with taxis/Ubers to the airport as there seems to be a shortage of taxis at certain times of the day and journeys to the airport can take 45 minutes in traffic. |I will not be returning.
It's really good at all! The room is big with a secretary and a sofa so we can have some fun time also but it's really hot inside (ac working so it's a point)! And the breakfast it's good, quiet space and really good food and variety! Also it's included! We love it, I recommend!!
The hotel was overall clean, quiet, and pleasant to stay in. It is located near some big shopping area as well. The staff and manger were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We had an issue of a passport being stolen in Barcelona that caused us to arrive 2 days late for our reservation at the hotel, and were able to call ahead and confirm and still check in. The night staff was okay but the day time staff was really good. When we spoke with the supervisor Pablo Diaz, and explained the situation and presented the police report, he was very understanding and agreed to refund the 2 nights we could not stay at the hotel and only keep the charge for the 1 night we made it in time to stay for. The breakfast was included and was good, although for vegetarians the choices are primarily pastries, fruits, and beverages. The parking is under the hotel, although there are some tight turns; so, just be aware that a larger vehicle might be a bit difficult to park there.
