Enormous lines to pay. Management or employees dont seem to care their customers time is important. Wed 12:45 Oct 17. People walking out and leaving their merchandise.
Constantly moving items around, it's impossible to be efficient. Also the product range is quite poor when it comes to electrical and metallic materials
Horrible.....as ever....staff not helpful, very rude, waiting forever for help, being sent up and down, the shelves are not stacked correctly, there are so many broken items, women with babies on their arm waiting forever in a line for attendance, and after forever being told that nobody will be coming because they decided to help customers for this area in another area, and to queue there instead (already 10 people waiting there). It is shameful, how the time and energy of customers is wasted in this store. The sad thing is, it is a store of goods that you need. So avoiding it is hard. It seems like Leroy is abusing the fact that it is selling things that people NEED to buy. They do not seem to have any wish of customer satisfaction.
I am shocked at the level of service from this company. SHOCKED. I thought it being so big, they would have a higher level of professionalism but that is far from the case. FAR. I went in to ask for a quote for a heating system and paid up front for it. The guy initially came out completely unprepared to take measurements and never returned. After multiple calls to their worthless call centres, they have still not been able to reschedule a new date nor have they refunded me my up-front-payment. Any time I called, a new person 'registers' the issue and nothing happens. I have made two visits with countless hours of help from salespeople only to not deliver on promises to reschedule or to refund me. All they do is update their systems without actually helping customers to resolve issues. Renovations are already stressful and these people add only to this stress. I DO NOT recommend working with this company. SAVE YOURSELF.

One of the worst DIY places on this planet. 2h after the purchase things break. Low quality products made by engineers who don't know where the force applies. Second, nearly all showcased products are just badly put together. Try a shower, a bbq or a windowed door. Handles are missing or it doesn't move at all. Either the team is untalented to build (you really should not hire them. I mean what advice can they give, really) or the products are just bad. Unfortunately there is not much choice in Portugal to Leroy Merlin. Bad. So I will have to bring things from Germany.
Big prices, but also big variety of products. Missing different offers of products or persona helping in store. Good option to return unused things. Big different things. Construction guys are saying that Leroy merlin is expensive and there are small shops where you can buy things cheaper (including Brico and Intermache), but Leroy merlin sometimes saves your time with going to different shops. Also its possible to return things very easy if its not fit or it wasn't used at all.
Huge store with everything related to building materials, home interior decoration, sanitary wares, hardware, etc.. etc. Good parking. Kind staff. Long queues at cashiers. All in all, recommendable.
