Easy pick up, staff very helpful. Recommend.
Don't waste your time here. They don't work lol. Was supposed to be open from 14:30 (after their lunch break), not a single person there until 15:42. An absolute joke. You had to return the car here? Good luck finding someone. Had to pick up the car here? Too bad, you'll have to wait until they come, and no one knows when that might be. Terrible location.
The staff is quite kind and very helpful. But I think the place is understaffed, as many times they took very long to attend me. This is not the case (usually) in other Europcar stations in Portugal.
They didn't respond on the phone, when they respond (after more 1 hour that we tried to call), they was very rude with us. We delay 10 minutes and we ask if it's possibile wait to us this 10 minutes but they were not available at all. So not a good experience.
We delayed 10 minutes the return of the car, we called to explain that we were blocked in the trafic because of an accident, asking if they could wait for us. They've been really rude and told us that they would have not wait for us. At the end we had to pay for an extra day.
After returning a car from this branch on the 27th of October, I still have not received my deposit back. I have tried to contact Europcar through multiple different email channels to which I received no reply, I have messaged on Facebook, and I have phoned the Australian Europcar. Nobody has even responded to my request except to say that they cannot help me, if they responded at all. Europcar owes me that deposit. There is no email address available for the Coimbra branch, which is why I am forced to leave a Google review. Very unhappy with this service, particularly having no email address when you are an international company. Give me back my deposit, and improve your customer service!
Goodday I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. Left the vehicle on the 23 October 2023 and still no refund has been made. The staff are not very friendly and do not want to do more than are paid to do. I as a Portuguese person was very disappointed with the service that I received.
I rented car and scooter. Personal helpfull, but they didnt explain me almost anything. Machines work properly. Prices are higher then competition, you often have to book in advance, sometimes they run out of cars. You have to give them 300EUR deposit or its locked from your credit card.
