Amoita in Faro

The hotel drop off service is great! Had a very clean and tidy Peugeot 308. It would have been five stars except for a hiccup at Faro airport where they were expecting me at their Fair office rather than the airport (despite my booking saying airport) - but they did come and get the car from the airport and did honour the original booking. I would use them again.

Waiting for two hours for our hire vehicle to be returned. Rubbish! Nobody here, no alternative method of getting to our apartment. If I'd messed up a booking this bad I'd be looking to redeem myself.

I've used Amoita Car Rental for several trips to Portugal, including pick-up from the airport in Lisbon, along with agencies in the Faro/Algarve area. I will continue to use them and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a rental agency that provides great customer service, a wide variety of vehicles, and affordable pricing. In the past, I've booked online, over the phone, and in person. All three options were seamless with prompt service and their staff are very professional. Grade A service without the exorbitant pricing.

5* service Easy booking online and even better reception at the airport. Being the pick up of the car at the airport or at the office (1 minute walking from the airport) the staff are perfectly reachable and nice. The contract was fast to fill in and the car was clean and as we requested. Will rent again with Amoita!

We have just returned from Portugal and hired a car from Faro airport. We were very happy with the service. The price was great and I was able to include various extras (like excess waiver, toll road token, etc.) and it still worked out cheaper that the standard companies. We paid for collection from car park 4 - there was a general hire car office there and we had to simply wait outside that for the Amoita rep to arrive. The car was very good - no fuss pickup or dropoff. We had to rearrange our trip due to covid and Amoita were very helpful and straight forward to deal with. Very happy with Amoita.

A genuinely good experience. We were met at Faro airport by a representative who called us on exiting the terminal. We collected our car which was brand new from the P4 car park, where we were given clear and concise instructions. On returning the vehicle the rep was waiting for us. The process was seamless. Well done Amoita I would happily use your services again when visiting the Algarve.

Never ever in my history of writing reviews have I given 5 stars to a car hire company. I chose Amoita based on their very good Google reviews. They certainly weren't the cheapest car hire company in Faro, Portugal but the reviews on all their competitors such as Hertz and Budget were all terrible. I have to say Amoita were amazing, the car was great, the service was great. Yes they were a little bit more money but it was worth every penny, or Euro. We chose to collect the car from the P4 parking area which was just a short walk from the main terminal. We will certainly be using this company again.

Having hired many cars from Faro, after my experience with these guys I will be using them again. From start to finish the service was excellent. Great communication, and responded to my specific requests quickly. I particularly liked the smooth and quick transaction when I arrived hot a tired, and just wanted to get to my location. Drop off was also smooth and easy. For price and efficiency I would highly recommend.
