CAEL in Faro

This, was my second time using cael...and once again, everything was perfect. Nice cars, on a very good rate...and Staff, always very professional. I really recommend this company, and definitely will be booking again next year. Thank you...and see you soon.

Unfortunately we had such a horrible experience with them. I would not recommend at all. It was mentioned to pick up the car at 9:00 am. after a few calls and a delay of about 30 minutes the person who was in charge to drop off the car to us came over with bad behaviour and saying: "she was late because we hadn't told her our flight number", although we hadn't got any flight. Also, She'd been rude to me and my wife since she got there, treating us as if we did something wrong, but guess what, she was the one who didn't get there on time. Please, do not rent or book a car with them. There are so many companies which will give you better costumer service for sure.

Terrible customer service! We booked a car via Booking, but when we arrived to pick it up, there was no one from Cael there to help us (it's a shared office for several rental companies- we chose the pickup spot at the airport). Even though we had booked to get the car at 9:30, we had to wait for 30 minutes until the Cael employee finally arrived (she was also very rude to us, saying it had been OUR fault because we hadn't messaged them with our arrival time, so apparently there was no way for her to know when we'd arrive ). We called her to ask for information and she didn't answer the phone. Honestly, I'd go with another company if I had to rent a car again. The guy that checked the car when we returned it was friendly, though.

Booked through priority pass, was a lot cheaper than other rentals. Easy and flexible pick-up/dropoff (picked up at 10am, dropped off at 6am). Nice and friendly staff.

Easy to find outside the airport at car park 4. No hidden fees or charges and good price on car rental. We knew it would be 30 Euros to take the car to Spain. Our credit card was having problems and the employee was incredibly patient as we were on the phone at closing time for over an hour. We dropped the car off in Lisbon rather easily for an additional 150 Euros.

After a ton of research and reading reviews, decided on this company. What a great experience. Booked directly at their website cael.pt and received confirmation within a day. Arrived at Faro and went straight to parking lot 4 and had a Mercedes shooting brake waiting for me. Received exactly what I reserved! I also paid the full coverage insurance and wheel/tire coverage for peace of mind and also negates the need for any deposit. Also rent the toll pass super convenient. Only negative is the car did not have Android auto or carplay enabled! Totalbummer. Drop off was just as easy, would totally use them again. Stop looking and book directly with cael.

The service was really bad and rude, just because we had issiues with the credit card. Incooperative, inorganized and the Shuttle from the airport let us wait for more than one hour. I can not recommend this carrental!!!

Good price for a month's hire from Cael's own website. Presently surprised by the ease of pickup from car park - was met at Arrivals by Joseph. Car (Fiat500X) was excellent. Return of car was a little stressful as I was told there was too much sand in it. However, this was nothing compared to the stress being experienced by customers at the return desk for other off-airport companies. Would use again.
