We rented a mini vehicle from Yor Car for our trip in the Algarve and received exactly what we reserved online. Though the service was slower compared to major car rental companies, the friendly and helpful staff made up for it - special thanks to Krystian and Pavel! The pickup process was lengthy, but the return was smooth and easy. Pricing is comparable to the major brands. If you prefer supporting local businesses, as I do, and don't mind a bit of a wait, I recommend Yor Car.
Upon arriving in Portugal, I had a disappointing experience with this company due to the poor treatment I received. The person in charge was disrespectful; I don't remember his name, but he had light-colored eyes. We paid for a seat for a child under 2 years old, but he brought us a seat for a child over 5 years old. The poor service continued when another employee had to bring the correct seat; he just threw it in the back seat. Additionally, the person in charge threatened that if we didn't arrive before 9 PM, they would be closed. We actually got the car around 10 PM and arrived feeling stressed because of our baby. When I called this guy, he was quite rude. In the end, the car was perfectly fine, and when we brought it back, another employee was friendly and apologized. When I mentioned my experience, he said that the disrespectful person was the manager.
The renting and the car pickup went quickly and smoothly. The only delay was caused by us but Sousa was really patient and helped whenever we needed. Great place to rent a car, I can only recommend it. They provide you every information and there is no need to have Credit card (but you need to have 1250EUR for deposit)
