The reviews here are fake. This agency is a scam and they don't abide by any rules or guidelines that any other reputable agencies do. They charge people random fees for washing the car and they have one employee running the whole thing.

Rented an A-class from Rentastar for a week touring the Algarve. Was a lovely car, immaculate and nearly new for a brilliant price. Service was excellent. Friendly and helpful. Collection and drop off was quick and straightforward. We were offered free bottles of water for us to take when we collected the car. And when they noticed it was my birthday during the rental period they waived the cleaning fee and on returning the vehicle they had a bar of birthday chocolate waiting for me! Can't ask for more, totally recommend.

Me and my partner rented a vehicle from the Rent a Star company at the end of our stay and everything went perfectly well. Their shuttle came to pick us up at the airport to go to their depot which is outside and took us back at the end of the rental, it was perfect. Very friendly welcome with good explanations and advice relating to the vehicle and other information, clear and well-treated contract. He owns a fleet of cars exclusively from Mercedes with automatic gearbox, which for our part was very low mileage, if not new and very clean! There was a deposit in the amount of 2145 for the chosen model (A 250e) which is not debited and returned after checking the vehicle during delivery. To conclude: very good experience with great value for money for this type of high-end vehicle! We will definitely come back to their place

Perfect welcome, simple formalities. Very convenient airport shuttle service. We recommend this very professional rental service. Dont worry about the deposits, they are important but are easily returned within 5 days (subject to returning a vehicle in the same condition as when you left!)

Be careful when renting vehicles from this company. There are absurd clauses that are within the office and not in the contract. For example, this nightly rate. How will you know this when you are visiting for the first time? A bad first impression of the country. This is abusive and I want a refund. Ive seen that its a practice that occurs with other clients as well. I asked for assistance with a taxi and was not helped. I would like to change my assessment if you contact me to resolve these issues. Regarding the comment below .. no there was nothing written about this fee. I washed the car to deliver it back and made sure about the quality too. And about education, it is a matter of action and reaction. I went straight to the point where I spent more than 5 hours stuck with my wife on a farm that had animals or someone who could also attack us. I want to highlight the service provided by a Brazilian woman who helped me at the beginning, excellent service! I believe she has no complaint to make about my education, which I assure you is very well polished. I asked her for instructions and also to show me where this clause was and she showed me that it was in the office itself and not in the papers I received. The trip was delayed due to heavy rain in Ireland and I put in my tracking in advance so that this could also be managed. If we had known about this fee beforehand, we would have been happy and sure to have prepared ourselves or even chosen another agency. Quero ressaltar o atendimento de uma brasileira que me atendeu no inicio, excelente atendimento! Acredito que ela nao tem nenhuma reclamacao para fazer sobre minha educacao que garanto que e muito bem polida. Pedi instrucoes ha ela e tambem que me mostrasse aonde estava essa clausula e a mesma me mostrou que isso se encontrava no proprio escritorio e nao nos papeis que recebi. A viagem teve um atraso devido as fortes chuvas na Irlanda e antecipadamente coloquei meu rastreio para que isso fosse tambem gerenciado. Se soubessemos antes dessa tal taxa com total prazer e certeza teriamos nos preparado ou ate escolhido outra agencia. E sobre mais uma vez educacao te confesso que fui mais muito Muito fino em todo momento. Ficar em outro pais, sem direcao, ninguem no raio de 30 km para te achar ou ajudar, quando a apolice disse que haveria taxi para apoio, sem gps, animais que nao conhecemos durante 5 horas!? Onde Apenas a policia nos achou acha que isso nao merece atencao? Por favor poupe comentarios sobre educacao pois saiba que duas vidas de dois consumidores estavam em perigo.!
