After reading countless horror story reviews of several of the cheaper car hire companies in Funchal, we decided to go a bit further up the price ladder for a bit of security. We were not disappointed. Anna was excellent, the car ( a fairly new, very clean polo cross) had good brakes, clutch the works ( which as we quickly found out are EXTREMELY important on Madeira) and the entire process was very smooth. We paid an extra 20 quid or so for insurance and ( also important) NO GIANT DEPOSIT ( or any for that matter. Highly recommend

I would strongly advise to go there to rent a car, the lady was so warm and welcoming. She took time to find us a car even though it was sunday and we decided we wanted a car in the last minute. She explained to us everything, even found the best parking place for us according to our hotel place. She's also very honest and diplomatic! We scratched the car sadly (and deeply felt bad for that) but since we had the insurance it was covered. She still kept a smile with us despite it all and didn't try to scam us like some other renters would. The price are really great, the car was super nice to drive. She was always accessible by phone if we needed her. We couldnt have found a better place to rent a car!

The lady at the desk was super friendly and helpful. Without her help we couldn't have seen such beautiful places. As a young driver und 21 it's very difficult to get a car or a scooter but they made it possible for us. The scooter was very easy to drive as she gave us a good run through.

I strongly recommend this place! Owners are really friendly, and flexy regarding rental hours. We rent scooter NMax (recommended model for two people, very comfortable). Scotter was in very good condition (with new brakes), we also got 2 helmets (new ones).

They brought the car directly to our accommodation (even though we booked the day before) and we were able to keep it until the airport. Everything worked perfectly via WhatsApp and was really good value for money for 5 days. The steep gradients and serpentines didnt bother the little speedster. Absolute recommendation
