I highly recommend Carwave for its excellent service. Carlos and Johnny were friendly, helpful, flexible, and punctual. My wife and I were visiting the Madeira and wanted to see other portions of the island beyond Funchal. Carwave provided a fantastic and easy way to venture out and explore with confidence. Their prices might be a bit higher than others, but it was totally worth it for the exceptional service. They'll even bring the car to your hotel and pick it up when you're done! So easy!

We rented a car for our trip to Madeira and the experience was just amazing. We got a brand new car that could drive us around the whole island with ease, and the price was incredible too. Carlos is such a nice, genuine and friendly guy, he gave us a lot of tips and advice for better experiences for our trip. The pickup and the return of the rental was very easy and took very little time. When we return to Madeira we will definitely rent a car here again!

It was our first time on Madeira and there are a lot of car rentals! I checked reviews, decided for this one and we don't regret! I booked the car online, payed in advance and when I came for pick-up, it was just 5 min. Johnny took me and my wife to the car and explained everything. We rented Fiat panda, on some hills it was a little bit rough but in the end the car made it. I connected my smartphone with car, it worked perfectly. So if you're first time on Madeira or you've been here before, from my experience I can highly recommend this car rental.

I rented a car for 4 days in Madeira to travel around the island and this was the place recommended to me. It lived up to and exceeded my expectations. I wanted an automatic Yaris and I got a new hybrid, it was a lovely car and a joy to drive. Some of the roads in Madeira are the steepest I've ever driven but not a single one was a problem for this car, it was very reassuring to know that this car could drive everywhere with ease. It also gave me the freedom to drive wherever I wanted on the island and to discover some amazing places. I also need to say a huge thanks to Carlos, he was so helpful every step of the way, gave me a great list of things to see and eat in, on the island and even kindly dropped me off to my next destination after I dropped the car back. He was very friendly and really nice to chat to. If you're looking for a great place to rent a car this is the place to do it. If I return to Madeira I will be booking a car with him again. Highly recommended.

It was the best car rental experience I have had anywhere in the world! Carlos was so lovely, made my experience of the island so much better. Excellent communication, flexible, friendly and caring. The car was brand new and for a Panda on the island, did an amazing job of taking me places. I would highly highly recommend. Some photos of places I went to that wouldn't have been possible without a car.

We had a fantastic experience with Carwave! Carlos was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. He waited at the airport for us even after our flight and baggage claim was delayed. He also provided a list of places to visit on the island which was very helpful. Our car was the Hyundai i30 which was more than capable of handling the steep and winding roads of Madeira. Air con and Bluetooth connection made our lives easier. Car drop off was nice and easy. We agreed a time to meet at the airport - Carlos was waiting and exchange was super quick! Overall great experience with Carwave. I would happily recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful island.
