rented a Fiat 500 for my stay in Madeira. The service was excellent, fast and pleasant. The car got us everywhere and parking was a dream. The car was clean and cute for my wife . When returning the car, the staff was again very pleasant and everything happened within 1 minute. The price was for 5 days for about 270 euros including full insurance. For me, I can recommend it 100%. If we come next time, we will rent a car here again.

Returned the car yesterday after a wonderful stay in Madeira. Always a little stressful renting a car on holiday, the photos of every dink and scratch when you pick up and then the slow tense circling of the car when you drop off. Well none of that from these folks. Simply the best experience I've had renting abroad. Professional, quick and above all not out to make money off you outside of the contract. No problems recommending them. 10/10
Super helpful and professional. I was an idiot who left on the car lights when leaving our car, so when I came back to the car the battery had died. It was in the middle of nowhere, and close to the closing time of the shop. Still they immediately drove about an hour with a replacement car (which was actually nicer than the original car), so we wouldn't be stranded for the night. We had no insurance, so we paid 200EUR extra for the replacement car, having someone driving it out to us and the replacement of the battery in the original car, which I think is a very fair price. All of this was handled very professionally by the shop. Would definitely recommend!

For such a good price we got a lovely Fiat 500 Cabrio which was in great condition and got us up all the steep hills easily. On pickup they were waiting for us at the airport, and on return a quick walk around the car and the deposit was returned. Stress free experience all round, highly recommend for anyone looking to rent a car in Madeira!
Best price on the island! We were worried about the car getting us up the steep hills of Madeira as we opted to purchase the cheapest class of car and booked online before we arrived. We were given a fiat500 X which was a nice surprise! Bigger than I am used to driving but the rear view camera and sensors made parking easy enough :) Pick up and drop off was very fast which is good because they open at 9am and we had a flight home to catch at 11:40! No problems at all, took 2 minutes and we got our credit card deposit refunded immediately. Would definitely use next time we are on the island!
We booked the car via online, were a bit unsure how things are gonna turn out because the price seemed relatively low compared to the other agencies on the island but the car and the agency itself turned out great. The customer service was good, the car we got - Renault Clio - was in a good state, barely 40k on the counter, it drove us well through Madeira. We also booked an additional insurance so it saved us a lot of time and of course the peace of mind. Can highly recommend this company and if we come back to Funchal we will definitely return to Driving Madeira Rent a Car.
