Anderson who met us at arrival was very friendly and thorough in taking us through the vehicle and offered tips for driving around Madeira. At our return we were greeted by another friendly Funchal Easy Rent-a-Car person. We handed them the keys and went on our way. Five stars!! I highly recommend using them for your rental car experience in Madeira!

Went to rent a car, but in addition to that got lots of tips about driving in Madeira, which roads to choose, tons of useful links for exploring the island. The car itself was definitely clean and in order. The process was fast and smooth. No trouble with anything whatsoever, would definitely choose this place to rent a car again!

Super nice experience. Someone waited for us at the airport, and it was easy to meet them. We signed the papers, and off we went. The car came with about a quarter of a tank, and you will be required to return it with the same amount, about a quarter. The car was a Skoda Fabia (BA 90OM). The tires seemed a bit worn, but nothing too concerning. It's an automatic, and I strongly recommend everyone take an automatic. There are steep hills that might be challenging for an inexperienced driver with a manual car. Anyway, dropping off the car was as easy as it gets. Just hand over the keys, and that's it. I also recommend getting full insurance. Unless the car is severely damaged, they won't check it. :) For what it's worth, you can only fit one large (60+ cm) piece of luggage in the trunk.

Rented a car there for my stay in Madeira. No hidden costs, upfront and transparent. No deposit with full coverage. Car return was just giving the keys back and wishing me a pleasant trip back home. Car was brand new, with less than 15.000km. I picked up and returned the car at the airport. Best car rental I have ever experienced.

Easily the best car rental experience I've ever had - car was waiting for us at the airport when we got in on a late flight (22:00 arrival), and was super easy to coordinate hand off to an employee when we drove it back to the airport a few days later. No time wasted at an office or requiring an extra stop on the way in and out of the airport, which was the best part. Car was fully covered by insurance, automatic transmission, and was nearly-new and in impeccable condition. Highly recommended to make your visit to Madeira enjoyable!

Best car rental ever in my life! First of all I called them to ask if they have any availability in automatic cars, 1 hour before their lunch closing time. Not only they said yes they also offered to wait for me 5-10 min as I was a bit far away. When we arrived at the rental it was so easy to rent the car, literally within 5 minutes we had a car. You don't pay any extra insurance- they don't check the car for any faults- . You need your driving licence and your id! That's it! Cherry on the top was the car! We got an amazing brand new(5000 miles only) Dacia 2023! We couldn't believe... all these for 276 euros for 3 days and a half. The car doesn't burn lots of petrol either- we travelled around the island for these days, going everywhere up and down the mountain and we spent 50 euros. At last a massive thank you to Alexandro who is the best person in a rental company we have ever met! So skilled, helpful and kind! If I could give ten stars I would!

It was such a great experience renting from Funchal Easy. I'd written them about a week before my rental was going to start just to confirm (I get a bit anxious about confirmations) and I didn't get a reply so I started to get nervous. Then I received an automated reminder/confirmation a day or two before the rental period and all was good. Anderson was waiting for me at the airport and went through everything thoroughly. He was very friendly and when he realized I wasn't leaving Madeira after the rental period, he changed the pickup place without any issue or charge (I mistakenly assumed I'd have to return the car to the airport where I picked it up). The car was a quite new Skoda Fabia (automatic) and it was great. An excellent option for the tight turns and narrow roads in Madeira. It's also great that you don't need to give a deposit and full insurance is included in the price. You can also use WhatsApp to communicate with them and they even send some useful information about levadas and other things on the island. We've been to Madeira twice now and plan to keep coming back. I'll definitely be using Funchal Easy again and would recommend them to anyone renting a car on the island.

I highly recommend this company and their service. We picked up the car from the headquarters and the whole process was really easy and fast. It took about 5 minutes. You will receive a lot of useful information about the surroundings and if you have any questions or problems, you can talk directly with the team on WhatsApp. We rented a Nissan Micra and it was more than enough for 2 people. We had no problems driving on all the steep roads. A big advantage is that you don't have to pay any deposit and you have insurance, so you can drive stress free. For sure we will go again with Funchal Easy next time we go to Madeira.
