Go car company in Madeira providing very good service. they don't freeze any deposits, they offer a good price, guys are super friendly and polite. we have fiat panda, car was clean, in good conditions, we have traveled around whole madeira also in mountains with no issues. Once we have some mistake in a car , guys immediately change a car for us. we have a good experience with them and we suggest this company. We rented a B category car with full insurance, ~40 EUR/day, without any card information and deposit. They opened the shop just for us after closing hours. They collected it in time as well. Good costumer service. The car was a Skoda Fabia, almost brand new witk 10k km. B category absolute needed if you want to go on the mountanins, the full insurance as well, because there were rocks in the road and the parking spaces that can damage the wheels. The car greatly did its job! Recommend!
Very kind stuff, no insurance costs and no deposit! The car was clean and had apple car play. Price is fair. The car couldn't go any faster than 50 km/h uphill on the freeway and 20 km/h when the road was very steep, other than that great car. I would recommend.
We had a great week exploring the beautiful island in the car we rented from Go Car. Great customer service and one of the cheapest options available! No deposit needed and they ask for the fuel to be half full when returning. We will definitely be using Go Car when returning next year. Thank you very much for making our week an unforgettable time!
Rented a "Group C" for 5 days. Their rep (Rafa) handed over the vehicle at Funchal airport and asked us to leave the car at airport parking P7 on departure date. The car given Skoda Kamiq was brand new & in spectacular condition. I have no hesitation in recommending GO CAR rentals to people visiting Madeira. Book early for good prices.
Fair price and a good service. Rafa waited for us at the airport and then picked the car as we were leaving from the airport. The process was quick and hassle free. We reserved a Group B car and got a new Skoda Kamiq with 25k Km on it. It handled the steep roads of Madeira adequately. I don't recommend having something smaller if you intend to go anywhere out of the city:)
We are satisfied with the car rental. The car that we hired from the first cattegory was small but managed everything we threw at it. Sometimes you had to drive it in first gear but thats normal because of the hills and the small engine. Very positive that you do not have to leave a deposit or credit card. Dropoff and return of the car was fast and simple. Recomend.
Madeira is a gem but our trip wouldn't have been so pleasant without renting a car. I prebooked a car 1 month in advance, pick up was very easy, within 10 minutes we were on our way to discover the beautiful island. I am very picky when I choose a car company where to rent from, I read reviews and so on. This time I did not disappoint. Brand new car with only 19.000 km. Staff is very helpful. PS: Madeira is not an island for learning how to drive, I have an experienced driver as a partner so if you are unsure if know how to drive, renting a car is tricky, or ar least, get an automatic one.
