Best Car Rental company in Madeira. Donaldo texted me immediately when i came out of the plane, and had our car ready in front of the exit. Just signed a few documents, and had nothing to worry about, because of the included insurance (except from the tires). We could drive away in 5 minutes and had an amazing time with our White Polo 2023. The car is perfect for the steep & narrow roads in Madeira. Definetely recommended!!!

The administration and the collection and delivery of the car were flexible. They are reliable, no deposit is required, insurance is included in the price, there is no kilometer limit.

I booked a car (Mitsubishi 1.2) five months in advance for four adults and a teenager for our entire two-week stay in Madeira because the rental price was attractive and the conditions were clear without any pitfalls. Collecting the car at the airport was hassle-free, we were easy to find, the payment was made according to prior arrangements. Unfortunately, on the first day Funchal turned out to be a place with many very steep climbs (even 20% gradient) which became too much of a challenge for the rented Mitsubishi with our weight :) We decided to give up this car. The company was VERY helpful. We upgraded the car to a version with sufficient engine power with an attractive additional payment (Peugeot 2008). Thanks to the kindness of the rental company, all road challenges became only pleasant holiday memories for us. Renting a car seems to be a very complicated process in Madeira as some of the car rentals has really bad reviews and scamming the customers. I decided to trust Point car and it turned to be a great experience. I ordered an airport transport by them as well and Eduardo was waiting for us the moment we came out of the airport and it was very easy and straightforward to get the car. Eduardo explained everything very well and he was very friendly. Even the customer service answered me quickly anytime I contacted them via email. The car was nice and looked kinda new. It worked perfectly and I really loved it. It was full insurance and exactly as they claim without any deposit etc... The easiest part though was to give back the car. They came by our hotel and just took the car without any complications. Very friendly and helpful staff, I really recommend Point car rental. Thank you Point car for making an awesome experience and a lovely trip for us in Madeira.
