Rent a Car Futuro in Funchal

I been travelling to Madeira for many years and hiring cars . I recently, however, had my first accident .My first concern was is everybody ok . 'Then I had to ring the company to inform them of the accident' . No need to worry on both counts as the other person was ok and so was this company . Ricardo in the shop was excellent, firstly he was concerned of everyone's wellbeing especially myself . Within two hours of the collision , I was driving away , with another Car . I will push this car rental to be a bit higher in the ratings. After an attempt to get a car at the airport from Europecar, with absolutely no flexibility to pay with a debit card or cash and with staggering deposit or even with no option to pay with a credit card using a phone, this car rental has offered any method of payment, no deposit, full insurance and assistance (luckily was not needed due to good condition of the car). The car had full insurance and fair price. Upon return I handed the keys and the car was not even inspected. I asked "this is it?" The staff said with a smile " it's like McDonlands, you can go. We'll take care. Have a safe trip" What else do you need?:) next time will consider Car Futuro.

vehicle broken down after 10 minutes, change with lower range, no reimbursement of the difference, new vehicle without fuel... no commercial gesture... to be avoided

As a society we mostly comment what's wrong and forget to appreciate what's good. Totally trustworthy, still has just a few reviews. I was offered a really fair price after being devastated by the fact, that other car rental, despite reservation, failed to deliver a car for me. Really good communication and understanding. I left something in the car (worth mentioning: almost brand new, fresh opel corsa 20kkm, Perfect condition) after finished rental - it was found and delivered back to me. 5/5, definitely would come back again, highly recommended.

The prices are affordable. No deposits are required, which is surprisingly amazing news! 100% we will return next time! Highly recommend this rental!

We hired a car at this company through our hotel (The views Baia, Funchal). They were super kind and the price is quite low as well. At the first two days we had some trouble with our nissan micra, so they gave us a higher class car for the same price, super correct move. They helped us to have a perfect, and memorable honeymoon trip. Thank you :)

We used Rent a Car for 2 days during our holiday to Madeira. Ana was most helpful in assisting us to find a car suitable for our travels around the island. We opted for a convertible, and boy was it worth it! Being able to enjoy the scenery above as we drove around the island was phenomenal. It was quick and easy! No hidden cost, and comprehensive insurance was advised & a safe bet just in case. No deposit & the car was lovely & clean too! The car was collected directly from our hotel, so no need to return by a particular time. Made exploring that much more relaxed. Highly recommend!!
