Stones Renr A Car provides excellent service. The prices were good, the car can be delivered to your location for a minimal fee and they provide full insurance. We rented an Opel Corsa, which was the perfect choice for navigating the steep and bendy roads of Madeira. The staff was very easy-going, friendly and helpful. The rental-process went smooth and I would definitely recommend booking with them!

I can not rate this company high enough. I don't own a credit card, only a debit card, and it was literally impossible to find a company to rent from. Stones Rent A Car was suggested to me, which was such a relief. I love to drive, but it can be nerve-wracking when you're in another country, and on the other side of the road, you are constantly concerned about damaging the car. We got a puncture whilst out and about, and I was so worried. Jose and Rosie turned up to help after a quick phone call. I was immediately put at ease, and they brought a replacement car so as not to spoil our day. It didn't cost me anything. I can't speak highly enough about Jos. His service was impeccable, and he was so friendly and kind. It truly made our holiday in Madeira so much nicer! I would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking to deal with kind, honest people.

I was 1 week in Madeira and rented a car from here. I booked in advanced 1 week before my stay. Everything went well, the car was pretty new and really nice, the price was good and no hidden cost for insurance or anything. The people working there were great and really helpful. This company was amazing! It is always intimidating picking a rental car company when you are from another country (United states). There are so many options and it's hard to believe their coverage policies. Stones Rent A Car was suggested to me in a Madeira travel group and I am SO happy we went with them. Madeira has some fragile terrain and unfortunately with that comes rock fall. We ran over a rock that had recently fallen as we were coming around a corner. They were so kind about the incident and even provided a replacement vehicle immediately after so we could continue our holiday. We did not have to pay anything for the tow or vehicle damage as it really is COMPLETELY insured. We will use them again and recommend them to all friends going to Madeira. (Picture for evidence)

We rented a brand new Kia Rio manual for 6+ days and found Ricardo and his team (Nivaldo) great to work with and very accommodating. I would rent from them the next time we're in Madeira.
