Sixt Rent a Car in Guimaraes

Ja ha alguns anos que alugo carro com o Cesar, e a experiencia e sempre fantastica! O processo e incrivelmente simples, rapido e sem complicacoes. O Cesar e extremamente competente, sempre disponivel e atencioso, garantindo que tudo corra da melhor forma possivel. Os carros estao sempre em excelente estado e prontos para partir. Habe uber CarJet ein Auto angemietet (Abholung bei Sixt in Guimaraes). Alles Top!! Nach einer Odyssee mit billiger-Mietwagen/ Wisecar, ist zum Gluck mit CarJet & Sixt alles bestens verlaufen. Die Sixt-Filiale in Guimaraes (JAPautomotive) war super kompetent und freundlich. DANKE CarJet! DANKE SIXT!

We rented two cars some weeks ago. I have to say that we had an incredible experience renting in Sixt (Guimaraes), nothing went wrong and we had no issues/problems. The service was amazingly conducted by Cesar Ribeiro. I would say that it was the best service of Renting a car I had during my life (in different countries). He was extremely attentive, polite and efficient. I would recommend it! The prices were very competitive and the service all good.

Simpatia no atendimento ao entregar a viatura mas a reserva online e pouco transparente, quando fui levantar a viatura nao tinham a que escolhi e tive de trazer uma de outra marca, alem disso tive que deixar uma caucao de 300EUR que nao me apercebi quando fiz a reserva online.

Not operated by the actual Sixt, this company is a fully fraudulent franchise! I will never use or recommend Sixt Portugal! They charged me 450 euros 2 months after returning my car. I had signed a form stating no damage found upon return. Being a digital form they just added a damage on to it for a loose boot separator upon some random inspection 2 months later. The photos show no damage that they shared with me. There is no way of verifying there actually is any damage. Now due to having my card details are charging me even after a lengthy review process with Amex. You are guilty until proven otherwise in these scenarios. Don't risk giving your card details to this horrible franchise in Portugal!

Don't rent cars from Sixt in Portugal!!! You will pay for the electronic toll system and yet after a couple of months you will get bills of unpaid tolls with additional costs. I contacted Sixt about the problem, because all the tolls should have been paid directly from credit card, and they just ignored my email. I rented cars in Portugal for over 15 years now and never had problems by Europcar, unfortunately I decided to try Sixt, due to a corporate discount, and I completely regret it. For 0.95 euros toll it costed me near 100 euros!!! If you have a portuguese adress, Sixt will share your data with the "Toll company"(Ascendi) and they will sue you without previous notice and you will be informed directly from the debt collection departement. If you have an adress outside Portugal this will be a lot more expensive, as a private company from Sweden or Italy will send you after a couple of years a bill for over 500 euros or more, depending on the amount you are missing to pay on portuguese tolls. STAY FAR AWAY!
