No problems, nice car, automatic which I enjoyed as a bit of a change. Tip get the transponder if you plan to explore the Algarve. Bit of a misunderstanding from my end regarding credit card charges but they were extremely courteous and professional. I noticed my mistake immediately after the call but they followed up anyway and didn't make a deal of it. I'd recommend these guys 100%
Managed to hire a car at very short notice after our campervan broke down. The staff were really helpful (both spoke perfect English) and made the pick up and drop off very easy. Great value - I would strongly recommend that you consider Lagorent rather than defaulting to the larger chains.
The best place to rent a car in the Algarve. Professional service combined with competitive rates makes Lagorent the only agency I will use when visiting. I have used this agency twice now for long term rentals and they have been extremely accommodating and helpful. I even had a couple of minor issues this last time and they took care of me with no questions asked. My thanks to Armenio, Andre, Xavier and all the team at Lagorent for providing myself and family with superb service. So refreshing to deal with a reputable car rental agency when you are thousands of miles from home.
Efficient and accommodating! We rented on the April 25 holiday so there was only one person working. I called ahead and he waited 30 minutes for me to find their office and then processed my rental. He had to take a car to another site, but he had waited for me. The other rentals in Lagos did not have automatic transmission cars, but Lagorent did. Really enjoyed driving around Algarve thanks to the gentleman who worked on a national holiday, but took care of his customers well.
I usually hate renting cars on vacation (stressful, expensive, pressured into extra insurance, etc) but the team at Lagorent were amazing. Easy to book online, pick up was smooth, vehicle was great (happened to be brand new to them the day before), and drop off was quick and efficient. Would happily use them again if I'm in the area.
