I went in person a morning in October and they were able to get me set up with an automatic car instantly. The lady who greeted me was extremely nice and friendly, and after filling out a form, I was set up with a rental car almost instantly. The car was in great condition. Insurance is included. Prices were extremely cheap and fair and we had a great time in the Algarve with the car. The return was even more seamless and fair, I simply dropped the car off and handed off the keys, and then left. 10/10, best car rental experience I've ever had. Highly highly recommend.

This was the quickest and smoothest car rental ever. Pre-booked a few weeks before our travel and received a confirmation - no prepayment needed. When we arrived it took no more than 15 minutes to pick up the car. Drop off was also very simple and price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!

We hired a Peugeot 308 from Luzcar (booked via Zest) which we collected from Faro airport. Car was effectively brand new (600kms) and clean, perfect size for what we needed, ready and waiting for us. Return/drop off was super easy too, as we just had to leave the keys in the car and off you go to the flight. As pain free as possible. Only 4 stars however, as I feel the hire companies are still price gouging following Covid. (PS360 for 7 days in a small estate car is very poor value).

Hired a car from Luz Cars at Faro airport. They have a desk / kiosk run from a van parked in Car park 4. Friendly service, the condition of the car was very decent. They also provided a device to autopay for tolls when using motorways. Car return was very smooth, we just had to drop the keys at check out. Will definitely use them again in Faro and Lagos. Highly recommended

People were queuing in Luzcar counter in Sun, while the multiple providers counter was empty in the shade; that says a lot. With Luzcar, it was Simple straightforward booking, clear explanation before arrival, payment on arrival, NO unwanted fee, clean car, helpful guidance in person. The gentleman who did the paperwork while picking the car was kind and respectful (loved the old school style). The return couldn't be easier, we parked, handed over the key and left. That's under one minute. They gave us the car with one point in fuel, we returned with three points; that's us thanking them for their respectful service. Loved the experience with Luzcar. I would give six stars for their respectful service.

The easiest car rental experience I have had in my life. Im Avis preferred, and have been accustomed to the large chain experience for years. I can really recommend Luzcar. I made a short-term request via WhatsApp and quickly and easily received a class C rental car for 30 per day. He was taken to the hotel free of charge. The car was fully insured, with no deductible and no deposit. The car was in very good condition. You can pay in cash or by card and you dont need a credit card to rent. The service and information is first class. If you want, you can get a toll transponder or sign that you will not use toll highways. An all-round carefree package!!! The employee was very friendly!!!

Er wurde unentgeltlich zum Hotel gebracht. Das Auto war komplett vollversichert, ohne Selbstbeteiligung und ohne Kaution. Der Wagen war in sehr gutem Zustand. Man kann bar oder mit Karte zahlen und benotigt fur die Anmietung keine Kreditkarte. Der Service und die Informationen sind erstklassig. Wenn man mochte, bekommt man einen Maut-Transponder, oder man unterschreibt, dass man keine mautpflichtigen Autobahnen benutzen wird. Ein rundum Sorglos - Paket!!! If you want to rent a rental car easily, I can only recommend Luzcar. The vehicles are as new and in technically perfect condition. Fully comprehensive insurance with no deductible included. Friendly lady gving the keys, easy transaction and the baby chair was included in the price of our rental which made the whole difference, in other companies they wanted to charge per day of use. I will not look never again for other car rental when we are in Portugal. As a feedback, the guy who made the reservation was a bit rude and basically told me that I did not make de reservation, when I rang and told me exactly dates and hours of the email he amend his mistake and confirmed the rental.

Uncomplicated processing. At the airport, we received the purchase contract and keys from the van. It was the first time for us and we found it very strange, but we were very satisfied. The toll thing is currently only available for the A22 (Algarve), so please check in advance if larger tours are planned. There is a system that is identical to this one and the payment is also made through it, otherwise there are toll stations where you buy a ticket and then pay at the end of the motorway. We went to a branch in Lagos again to check and we were helped very easily there too. We can only recommend Luzcar.
