This location has given us amazing service for more then 8 years, for multiple vehicle types. It's always a stress free pick up and drop off. Highly recommend!
Terrible service. We rented a car in cascais and on our way to Porto we had the engine light starting to flash as well as the start/stop light was on. We called europcar to advised and asked us if we felt safe driving to the nearest europcar which was this one in Leira. We said yes but we almost stalled on the way as going up any hills the engine had no power left. We arrive to wait in line for over 20 mins to be told we have to gas this thing back up before exchanging the car. On top of the inconvenance of having unsafe car, time wasted out of the day, we are asked to get back in the unsafe car to put gas in it??!! I am uncomfortable to book this company again. On top of that, we booked a compact car and got a mini. First and last time I book with europcar.
The staff do try the best to give each customer the attention they need, however they are under staffed so waiting times can be long. If you are not patient, this will be a problem.
