Amoita Car Rental - Lisbon Airport Rent a Car in Lisboa

I 100% recommend for renting a car in Portugal. We usually rent with bigger agencies, but after reading so many positive reviews we went with Amoita and it was perfect, especially their flexibility. We were staying downtown and they delivered the car to our hotel, we asked them to come a bit earlier as we had a change in our plans and they arranged to have the car dropped off 2h earlier at no cost! Car was in perfect condition. Return at Lisbon airport with no problems (make sure not to go to the rental car returns but follow their instructions!).

I was concerned about renting from the major car companies (which I use almost exclusively) based on the many negative reviews I had read so I rolled the dice on Amoita and I don't regret it. Not only did I save money (including very reasonable prices on insurance/collision/etc.), but I also saved time with their pick and drop off service. The vehicle was on the older side (maybe 4 yrs?) but that suited me fine as well. The vehicle ran perfectly; and even the smallest blemishes were noted on the rental agreement w/o me having to draw attention to them upon check-out. Great fuel economy, too. I felt like a local in this vehicle (If you're a driver from the USA, you'll feel very comfortable behind the wheel once you're out in country). I would definitely use Amoita again.

Car was dropped off right to our location as requested which was super convenient. Debora was our rep and she was efficient and pleasant to deal with. She had us on our way quickly and professionally. Drop off was straight forward and Debora was right there to complete the process. Completely recommend this company. From the time we found their website, which was very informative, to the ease of picking up and droping off the car was amazing. Their Customer Service is second to none. Paulo, Debra, and the young man (sorry we can't remember his name) made our experience outstanding. They provide contact numbers in case you require assistance throughout your travels. They respond quickly to email inquiries. Felt like a very personable experience. We rented from their Lisbon Office just north of the Airport. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express before your departure they are 2 mins across the street and will pick up the car for you. We highly recommend Amoita Car Rental.

If you are looking for a quality car rental with flexible options and various return locations, i recommend Amoita. We hired a car online and picked up at their Lisbon office(different location from Google, but their staff will keep you right. Located just under Master Kings office) and returned the car at Faro Airport (you will need to pay a one way charge) Very quick pick up and drop off, no hassle and very friendly staff. Thanks for making our holiday even easier !

I rented cars already from many providers like Europcar and Hertz. But Amoita has been so far one of the best ones. We picked up the car at their office in Lisbon and also returned it there after our 3 weeks road trip through Portugal. Everything went super smoothly. We booked it directly through their homepage including the full insurance. Thus, they did not really check the car when we returned it. Super easy going and no cheating. 5 stars!!!
