10/10 recommend. The whole team here is top class, really attentive, thorough and professional. I rented the rooftop camper and had the best time. Check in and check out was really clear, they speak English super well and provide a WhatsApp group for assistance for any problem you might encounter (not that I needed to use it much but they respond very promptly).

Waiting for us and deal with airport transport After flight delay, Always available on WhatsApp. The van that we rented was also pretty nice , everythings in the van was working correctly so we can had the best experience and an Amazing trip from Nazare to the south Algarve in 6 days. Unlike certain commentary, the security deposit came back After 10 business day like mentionned by Ricardo minus our highway consommation. Si everythings us done according contract rules. If i have to rent van again in Portugal i will choose campers onway again, many thanks again for this Amazing trip

We had ten extraordinary days on our tour with a campervan of ,,Campers on way". The Check in and Check out process was absolutely uncomplicated, thanks to the nice staff (once again: Thank you, Antonio!). We got an almost brand new van and were instructed very well, so we didn't have any issue during our trip. We had an amazing experience travelling through this beautiful country, met a bunch of nice people and simply had a lot of fun. Especially at this time of the year we had no problem finding a free space at the campgrounds we chose. In a nutshell: We had a great time and simply can recommend this to others!

I rented a van for five days (for three people) and I was super satisfied! Upon delivery, they explained in detail how everything worked, so that there were no doubts, and in fact, nothing was needed, everything went perfectly. I have to say that during the stay they were very attentive and responded quite quickly to any questions, but I have been renting campers for years and in relation to quality and price I have not been satisfied. I know its on the website, but it still seems a defect to me that they charge 25 for sheets, or towels, chairs..., when normally in hotels/apartments even in other campers it is usually something basic. There are charges for anything, using the greenway is 15 plus whatever you spend, it is the first time in Portugal that they charge me that for using something that is already integrated into the vehicle, I think it is a way to get money from the customer . The deposit is excessive, and the vehicle had quite a few defects that have surely been charged to other individuals, due to how they carry out their company policy, and they are not fixed. The refrigerator on the curves would have been on its own, the freezer was broken, there were no plugs, the upstairs window had a regular lock and the shower had a broken piece. In short, value for money has been one of the worst campers I have rented.

He de decir que durante la estancia estuvieron muy atentos y con respuesta bastante rapida ante cualquier duda, pero llevo anos alquilando campers y en relacion calidad precio no he quedado satisfecho. Se que esta en la web, pero aun asi me parece un defecto que se cobre por que te den sabanas 25 , o toallas, sillas..., cuando normalmente en hoteles/apartamentos hasta en otras campers suele ser algo basico. Se hacen cobros por cualquier cosa, usar la via verde son 15 mas lo que gastes, es la primera vez en portugal que me cobran eso por utilizar algo que ya va integrado en el vehiculo, creo que es una forma de sacar dinero al cliente. La fianza es desmesurada, y el vehiculo tenia bastantes defectos que seguramente se han cobrado a otros particulares, por como llevan su politica de empresa, y no estan arreglados. El frigorifico en las curvas se habria solo, el congelador roto, no habia enchufes, la ventana de arriba tenia la cerradura regular y la ducho una pieza rota. En resumen, calidad precio ha sido de las peores campers que he alquilado.

Excellent experience. September 2024, we traveled almost 1000 km starting from Lisbon touching Nazare, Porto, Alto Douro, Lamego, Villa Nova de Foz Coa, Monsanto to return to Lisbon. We (family of three) hired a Fiat Ducato campervan for a week to travel around Portugal. Campervan was spotless, new in the fleet, very easy to drive, with easy controllable setup for a living compartment. Guys in the office were really helpful. Francisco gave me a comprehensive guide before we left their premises, and he also made a Whatsapp group in order to stay in touch 24/7 if anything needed. We stayed in the official campsites across Portugal. This was AMAZING and SPECIAL experience considering that we travelled with a toddler! Advice for the future customers; Highly recommend taking premium insurance on the van when booking. Peace of mind if anything happens is the most important thing so you can relax and enjoy the ride. You can avoid Via Verde motorways. It will take longer to travel around and you will save money, but hey-youre on holidays and rural Portugal is lovely to see! Advice for the Campers on way; It would be beneficial if you could make a small book with a guide about campervan and basic Portugal info that would be inside every campervan, somewhere stored. Whatsapp group is great, but it would be more valuable to have a hard copy too, in my opinion. At last, Campers on Way is well established company that rents out converted campervans. Fleet is new, tidy and easy to drive. Highly recommend to experienced travellers but ALSO to someone who wants to try something new. Remember, life is short. You never know what is around corner. We rented a Dacia car with awning. Excellent solution for traveling around the Algarve lightly, stopping overnight in equipped campsites, so you can use showers and bathrooms. Comfortable car, with everything you need. Comfortable and spacious mattress. Mr. Thiago, at check-in, was very effective in explaining various things. The only suggestion I would like to give is to clean the inside of the car well before delivery, as sand easily enters between one rental and another if you go to seaside areas.

It was my first experience to travel by campervan, and i absolutely liked it. My girlfriend and me travelled from Lissabon along the coast to Sagres. On the way we made some stops to surf and when we liked the spot, we stayed there overnight. It was a cool feeling saying, yeah... lets stay here and park the van on the cliffs with an awesome view over the sea (and surfspot). Everything went without problems, we never got into trouble finding good sleepingplaces. We were looking for uncrowded spots with a nice view and were supprised, that we found so good places, without searching a lot (on google sattelite you can get a good first impression of the coast line and where its possible to park the van) The van was in a very good and new shape. We had 150l of water and it lasted the whole week, although we took a short shower everyday after surfing. The handover of the van, directly at the airport was completely reliable ( although our flight had an 1 hour delay) and Ricardo was still waiting for us to handover the van and explain everything... freshwater supply... toilette... electricity... and much more! So I can absolutely recommend campersonway. Everything was organized the way we could start our trip right away from the airport without loosing quality surftime.
