Great experience renting from Europcar. After hearing horror stories about various car rental agencies and experiences in Portugal I was a little apprehensive, but everything was easy, quick and hassle free. Service was fast and friendly at pick up location downtown and dropping off at the airport was equally quick and easy. Our little Fiat was perfect for Portugal's winding narrow streets and challenging parking. Will rent from them again and highly recommend.
Hello. I am from South Korea I rented an electric car yesterday I am can't using "miio app" "Miio"The phone number is not recognized Can I charge with cash at a gas station? Is there another way? Not all electric vehicle charging apps recognize Korean phone numbers
Great company, great service staff, great car, and great time touring Portugal because all the little things (tolls and roadside service coverage) were part of the very affordable package.
Good day, we can't contact you, that's why I'm writing here. We rented a car from you and dropped it off on Saturday. The deposit is held on the credit card. When can we expect a refund?? greetings
Unfortunately it only takes one bad employee to ruin a place. The employee refused to tell us her name but it was the most unprofessional customer service experience I've ever had in my life. The company has great prices and other fabulous locations. I would just avoid this one if possible.
Don't recommend. Picked up the car dirty with 3/4 tank of petrol. Car was super old and nothing special. Dropped off the car full and we were charged a random EUR120. No invoice, no explanation. Super difficult to get in touch with anyone. Go somewhere else. You'll end up paying heaps more than the prices they advertise.
Trust all the bad reviews on this one! Look carefully at your car when they do the initial check-up and point out every single details! Even more the wheel caps! I had a perfect drive and the scratches were probably already there. Don't trust them to do their job correctly... Take pictures too! Otherwise have a nice trip. Oh, and they put the message they will help with the customers e-mail and then: no follow up... So don't be fooled by that either
First suggestion for the readers is to please book your car in advance and online because at the counter the prices will be way too high. So we rented a toyota but we didnt get that rather we got a similar option which was a kia. It was comfortable, we paid 80 euros for full coverage insurance, more or less we ended up spending 300 including petrol, insurance, security deposit plus tolls on the highway. Do not rent if you are staying within lisbon city as driving here can be bit complicated. Overall it was a good experience.
