A bon entendeur , ...
Owner of a McLaren 570S in France, I just wanted to take a look at the Ferraris on display. Being on vacation, we were not actually in a three-piece suit, I think that given the welcome we received, that would have weighed in the balance. I have never been received so coldly (even on vacation in London) in a McLaren dealership. We were made clear that our place was not in the concession and that taking a photo was prohibited. I am happy to see that the brand I have chosen is much more classy and respectful than the one with the prancing horse. Don't forget that clothes don't make a man and that looking at customers has never been good for business, even when your name is Ferrari. To the wise,...
I came here and asked very nicely if I could take a few photos because I am a car enthusiast and had really been looking forward to this when I went to Lisbon, but no, I was not allowed to take any photos and was looked at very strangely by the lady at the reception. front desk. At all the other dealers I have been to they have never made such a fuss about a photo of cars that are there to be seen.
Excellent experience with Ferrari Lisbon. The service from the team has been excellent paying attention to details embracing the Ferrari's philosophy. You are not just buying a car, you are embracing the prancing horse culture and tradition . Everything was perfect starting from the attentive receptionist Ana Paula to the Pre-owned sales manager Vasco Manuel that assisted me all the way answering to all questions with competency and kindness
Kindly asked if I could take a picture of the F1 as I'm a huge fan of the sport yet I was turned away and asked to leave. I felt like an intruder when the cars are exposed through glass like they're meant to be photographed. Can't comment on their customer service as a customer however.
Very negative experience as an owner of 3 different F's over the past decade. For example, I once brought my F12 in for the service since it had the 7-year free maintenance plan. Apparently, this isn't enough of a service for the dealer, as they wanted to sell me a whole new set of wheels, because my old ones were "broken". I declined, took the wheels to an independent shop for analysis. The wheels merely had some small alignment issues, which were fixed for 50 EUR. Every time I go there, it seems to me that they're not too worried about the basic maintenance but rather always want to up-sell you some obnoxious, unnecessary items. The hilarious thing is, even their sister dealership in Porto knows about this and tells me that many of their customers from the south prefer to have their cars serviced in the dealership in Porto. I've seen many dealerships over the years in other countries and must say that I did not come across this level of predatory behavior in any other Ferrari dealership across Europe.
I can genuinely say that dealing with Helder at Ferrari has put me off Ferrari Portugal for life. The guy literally shows zero care for customers and doesn't even have the courtesy to reply to multiple emails. I would like Ferrari head office to contact me so I can share the email thread with you and so you can see how this member of staff operates. It's utter laziness and you have lost a customer. My 488 is sold and I will not be returning to the brand.
Ferrari, what else!!
We went to the Lisbon Ferrari store today. As a current Ferrari owner and my "local" dealership is 800km away, I had planned to buy some Ferrari accessories. Specifically a couple of shirts and a new hat. It is easier to see the merchandise in person for sizing than online. It was very comical how all of the staff took great effort to completely and absolutely ignore us!! Except when I took a picture of the new 488 Pista. The cleaning lady said I was not allowed to take pictures of the car, only the F1 car. As I have not been able to see one at the dealership in Calgary yet, pictures would of been helpful. I feel this type of customer treatment reflects very badly on the Ferrari brand. Barry
