I stayed at the holiday inn Continental with my family for 5 days. The service was impeccable and the staff were very friendly. I will list the pros and cons: Pros: 1. Very good service 2. Available parking for free for residents 3. Restaurant a la carte is fairly price 4. Taxi easily available 5. Rooms are very clean 6. Rooms are large Cons: 1. Rooms are not new but as mentioned clean 2. Breakfast can be improved 3. The hotel is not at walking distance from the historical part In summary I would recommend the hotel and I would stay there again.
Stayed here recently on a work trip. Location was fantastic for the venue I was needed in and I would say even for a vacation being very central in Lisbon. The hotel was very clean with good sized rooms. My only complaint was the breakfast was not the best but I have found that in general with th holiday inn chain.
The Holiday Inn hotel in Lisbon a gem in the city. Convenient location, caring staff, comfortable room and excellent breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.|The lobby is beautifully decorated, the staff at the front desk very helpful, they advise booking the Hop-In/Hoo-Off and the most iconic places to visit. There are taxis always available at the front of the hotel, very convenient. However the Uber service is very good . The hotel in close to the airport and just about 20min to the first stop of the tourist busses.
Staying at the holiday inn Lisbon for 6 nights and I'm really enjoying it. It's very clean and relaxing. It is out of town but plenty of buses and the metro so not a problem at all. Beds are super comfortable and rooms have everything you need.|Food has been nice on the days where we were too exhausted to go back into town.|I must really mention leticia in the bar, she is so helpful and made us the best cocktails I came down in the evenings hoping she was on.
Beautiful lobby of the hotel. Rooms are bit tired but acceptable. Staff tries their best. Denis at breakfast was excellent to chat and welcome with smile. Renovation with some area will be beneficial however the hotel was okay for the price
If you are booking a trip to Lisbon be aware that there are actually 7 Holiday Inn locations across the city. The location I stayed at is officially called Holiday Inn Lisbon - Continental but Campo Pequeno is one of the more popular locations for people doing short stop overs due to it's proximity to the Humberto Delgado Airport. It's just 15-20 minutes away from the airport by taxi and far enough of our town that you avoid much of the traffic the city is infamous for.... but it's very important you double check the destination before getting into the taxi to the wrong Holiday Inn that can be easily done.||||I found the hotel check-in process fast and efficient and the team were very friendly. They advised that yes breakfast was included in my booking. I later found out that this wasn't correct and they said I had to pay for breakfast so I skipped it. Breakfast looked fairly standard for a European hotel so I ended up grabbing several freshly based Pastel de nata's from Upal - Uniao Panificadora da Amadora a small little bakery located in Falagueira on my way to find some street art.||||Good way to start any day is to find out the shower pressure is amazing and I'd stay here again just for the shower. Unfortunately from 6am I could hear the neighbours phone constantly ringing and ringing so the last few hours of my sleep-in was a bit rough. Also around 6am I started to hear the intermittent sound of the planes landing/taking off from Lisbon Airport combined with the neighbours phone that was still ringing made it hard to get more sleep so I got up early. One downside to staying in an older property is often the TV was the size of a computer monitor and I never bothered to check if it was actually any good. But upside Wi-Fi was great so watched Netflix on my phone instead...||||As always the complementary bottle of water in the room was a nice touch. They also had a suit press but I didn't have the need to use it. Air-conditioning was OK and I turned it off after a few hours in the evening once the room had cooled down. My view from the 5 floor was the back of several buildings which wasn't that inspirational. It was nice to have two usb powerpoints by the bed but the room could have had more ceiling lighting.||||Overall a very comfortable bed and a reasonable hotel but a bit pricey at EUR149/night with no breakfast.
We just got back from staying at this hotel with two large groups. What a wonderful experience. I am not sure where to start. The entire staff is fantastic! || First, it is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Check in was quick and the staff handled everything professionally. When I needed help finding things in the city, ordering pizza for the kids or booking events, the staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and I am very appreciative for everything they did for our group. ||The rooms were very clean, and the people who came in and cleaned while we were out did a great job. The hotel bar and staff were excellent, and it became a great meeting place for all of the adults in our group||We had a large group, and I would recommend this hotel to any size group of adults, group of adults with kids or if you just wanted to come and see this beautiful city.||Thank you!!!||Rick Rothschild|School of Rock of the Palm beaches
Awesome hotel and customer service! We stayed for four nights, the hotel upgraded us to King bed suite as we are Platinun Elite member. Great amenities including glass bottled water and chocolates daily! We loved the sizable suite (two bedroom) with a king bed in main bedroom and sofa bed in the other (which also has a working desk). ||Hotel is conveniently located in city center and train station is within walking distance. We took the metros easily including the one to Sintra. ||Breakfast is ok selection, we did appreciate having omelette that can be made to order. ||We will for sure stay here again when we travel to Lisbon next time!
