Horrible experience!! In the pictures you can see an amateur fix for a pre-existing hit of the rear bumper. Of course I only saw it after the nice plastic part of the bumper that hides it away got loose on the bumpy highway. It smashed on the road, dangled on a cord for a few km, putting my family and other cars at risk. AT CHECK OUT - WHO DO YOU THINK THAT WAS MADE TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGE?! YES! ME! More than 1000 Euros! Why? "Because this is the company's policy": You pay for any damage to the car (even if it was caused by their faulty hands), and then you beg to get ramburished from their mysterious complaint department (A department only reachable by mail, not phone. I'm still waiting for their reply). A decent company would take responsibility, apologize and compensate for such neglect of customers safety. And this was the tip on the bad experience iceberg in our 1 week long trip with the camper.

They charge you on every step crazy amounts and give you really low quality cars not designed for comfort. You pay extra for everything essential. Also use cheap tricks like make water cap loose at the check-in so you pay for it a fortune later. They don't give you their location before the payment for a reason. In Lisbon it's an hour ride away from the city. Never go to Indie, use p2p services like YesCapa or else.

We had an unbelievable trip and through Indie campers we were able to explore and visit so many amazing places around the south island. We would also love to extend thanks to Caitlin and Shane for their amazing help at the Queenstown depot!

Great company to rent vans! However I came here and this is just the office not the pick-up center. ;)
