Stern Rent - Lisboa in Lisbon

A very friendly rentacar with good prices. Unlike many other smaller firms they do not endeavour selling you an expensive ensurance or, if you desist, charging you for a minor scratch or chip. Very good guys!

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with this rental company in Lisbon, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn others. From the moment I arrived to pick up my car, things started to go downhill. The car wasn't even ready when I arrived, and when it was finally brought out, I noticed a problem with the trunk--it wouldn't protect our belongings properly. When I pointed this out to the rental agent, they dismissed it as a non-issue, showing a complete lack of concern. They were unwilling to address the problem or offer any solution. The situation only got worse from there. The staff was rude and unprofessional in their handling of the situation, making it clear they had no intention of helping. After much back and forth, I was given another car, only to find that it, too, had issues that should have been caught with a basic inspection. This led to yet another car change, wasting more of my time and causing unnecessary stress. It was clear that the company doesn't properly check their vehicles before renting them out, leading to these avoidable problems. Overall, this experience was a nightmare. I will never use this company again and strongly recommend that others avoid it at all costs. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service is astonishing. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable and customer-focused rental company.

From the moment I arrived, I was met with a dismissive attitude and unprofessional conduct that left a sour taste in my mouth. The employees seemed uninterested in assisting me, more focused on their personal conversations than helping a customer. When I asked for clarification about the rental options, I was met with impatience and condescension, which made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. To make matters worse, when I pointed out an issue with the vehicle I was given, the staff's response was not only unhelpful but borderline hostile. Rather than addressing the problem, they seemed annoyed that I had brought it up at all. Overall, the lack of basic customer service and the rude demeanor of the employees made what should have been a simple and smooth transaction incredibly frustrating. I will not be returning to Stern Rent Lisbon and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for rental car services.

Absolutely the worst car rental in PT. Waited an hour for the car to be pulled around. Staff could not care less. Stay away!

I rented a Kia XCeed vehicle at Stern - Lisboa on July 4th. I made a reservation for July 5th through the site, but I went to the office on July 4th because I mistook the date. Still, the employee rented the vehicle and told me to cancel the existing reservation. Thanks to this, I used the vehicle well and returned it at dawn on July 5. I'd like to ask you something. My credit card was approved by your company on July 4th and 8th, but I did not receive any invoice. Please send me the invoice for the two approved details by e-mail.

Best car rental experience I've ever had. Very professional and quick. Also not trying to find ways to charge me extra. Sad to say but that is rare. I got there to pickup the car 20 min early and they didn't have any issues with giving me the car. They also have a 1 hour grace period on return. Once at another company they made me stand and wait until the exact time, they wouldn't even do the paper work early so Stern's attitude is very refreshing. I highly recommend them!

Superb experience start to end! Car pickup was a breeze. Gentleman at the desk was very professional and helpful. Our Hyundai i20 was in immaculate condition and very clean. Was a real pleasure to drive. Especially liked the ability to drop the car off after hours. And the rental price was second to none. Will definitely be renting here again!
