Waygo - Car Rental in Lisbon

Outstanding customer service, once again, from the kind people at Waygo Car Rental! We were picked up, promptly, from Lisbon Airport and shuttled to Waygo headquarters where our car was waiting. The team were extremely, professional, polite and welcoming and all the paperwork was completed promptly. We were also extremely grateful to have our car upgraded, free of charge! This is the second year that we have used Waygo and I won't be looking to use another company. They are the best and you shouldn't look any further than them. Thank you so much Nuno and an extra special thanks to Rita who is an absolute star! Thank you for making our trip stress free once again! We hope to see you next year once again! Waygo is awesome!

The experience with Waygo was fantastic. Starting from the communication and negotiation of price ending up with car delivery service. Waygo offered car rent with full insurance minimum reservation of deposit 150 eeur and Via Verde (road tolls payment system) included. We felt personal attention since the first step and when we had to extend our car rent for one more day we did it easily by phone call. They also offer free shuttle from the airport and back. Best recommendations for very decent price!

Great car, friendly staff, and great service. I rented the car through a broker called Zest. The process to rent a car from zest was painless and very clear. I arrived on a flight that was delayed. Upon messaging them on whatsapp, they came to pick us up in a giant purple van in under 10 minutes. Pickup was at exit number 4. The rental car office was less than 10 minutes away, and we arrived to a brightly lit and open space West professional staff waiting behind the counter to serve us. There is a coffee machine, water, and mints if you want to partake. The location feels very safe call me and I have no concerns about business shenanigans. They did try to upsell me, but I declined insurance and the upselling. As a result I managed to get a 5-day rental in a Fiat 500 for 67 Canadian dollars. That is an insane value. I did ask if there was a soft top I can rent but they did not have any at the time. The pick a process was very simple. The usual checking of the driver's license and explaining of the insurance liabilities was relatively short. They did put a 1500 Euro deposit on my card, but that was clearly spelled out in the contractual agreement when I rented the car. The car was a pleasure to drive. I don't know why people complain about small cars in Europe, but it was so fun to drive. The car was clean, and efficient. Drop off was super easy. There is a dedicated Lane for drop off, and once you leave the car and go inside they will go through the tolls with you. The inspection of the car was quick and efficient. They did not try to find any cosmetic for illegitimate damage to charge me for. That was a concern reading reviews from other places however the staff here was very friendly and was extremely fair and thorough. They promptly canceled my 1500 deposit and offered me a ride to the airport call my which I declined because I needed to head into town. Overall, Waygo presents an incredible value. The rates are extremely cheap, the car is reliable and efficient, the staff incredibly friendly ( offered me a complimentary coffee when I arrived which was extremely appreciated as I was delayed and extremely jet-lagged), and didn't play games with Phantom damage. I would rent from Waygo again without hesitation, and avoid any other car rental agencies that have reviews from renters who report Phantom damage to make up for low rates.

Very very friendly and customer orientated car rental place. Highly suggest booking your car rental in Lisbon through them! Process was seamless, hassle-free and enjoyable. After reading so many reviews about car rental in Lisbon Airport, we decided to rent a car with Waygo. The whole experience was excellent. After we landed in Lisbon Airport, we called Waygo and soon we were picked up to their office. They didn't push their insurance (we got our own insurance). We got the car exactly what we booked. The car returning process was quick and smooth as well. The credit card holding deposit was returned very quick. It was very good value for money. We were very happy with Waygo car rental company.

Our experience with Waygo was excellent. I worked with Marta to get the right cars for our visit and Pedro had the paperwork ready upon our arrival and after acquainting us with our cars we were quickly out the door and on our way. The return was seamless and we were immediately shuttled to the airport! Pricing was reasonable and the services was exceptional. Highly recommend them as your car rental option.

Nice and reasonable prices, amazing staff, good customer focused, smooth and comfort cars, near to Lisbon airport, their team will pick/drop you to/from airport. it would be great if they had their own online portal for customers so they can select the cars, instead of paying extra commission to any third-party. overall - good experience and looking forward to use the same rental company in my next visits and i do recommend my circle to use their services, they are good.
