Nous avons reserve une voiture au mois d'aout 2024 quand nous avons pris possession de la voiture nous avons fais le tour du vehicule et pris des photos de la carrosserie cependant nous avons oublie de regarder le pare brise et autre en arrivant a notre destination nous avons pu nous rendre compte que les pneus etaient completement lisses et la cle (ouverture de porte deconnait) sans plus cependant, quand nous avons rendu le vehicule il etait tres tot le matin alors nous avons gare la voiture comme on pouvait au bord de la route et mis la cle dans la boite au lettre comme convenu. Et en personne honnete que nous sommes nous avions lave la voiture et fais le plein puis nous avons pris l'avion en toute serenite cependant en arrivant a l'aeroport de Geneve nous avons ouvert nos mails et la, stupeur 5 messages de l'agence qui nous disait qu'on avait rendu le vehicule accidente et nous reclamait 480 euros comme nous ne parlions pas la langue nous sommes alles a l'agence de voyage qui avait fait la reservation alors tenez vous bien apparemment il y avait "um pico sur le pare-brise" a priori un impact sur le pare-brise dont nous n'avons aucune connaissance de plus ils nous ont envoyes une photo ou on ne voit rien en gros 1 semaine plus tard ils nous ont debite l'argent ne nous laissant aucun moyen de verifier la veracite de leurs dire je ne recommande pas cette agence
We reserved a car in August 2024 when we took possession of the car we walked around the vehicle and took photos of the bodywork however we forgot to look at the windshield and other things when arriving at our destination we we were able to realize that the tires were completely smooth and the key (door opening was faulty) nothing more, however, when we returned the vehicle it was very early in the morning so we parked the car as best we could on the side of the road and put the key in the mailbox as agreed. And being the honest person that we are, we washed the car and refueled it then we took the plane with complete peace of mind, however when we arrived at Geneva airport we opened our emails and there, astonishment, 5 messages from the agency who told us that we had returned the damaged vehicle and demanded 480 euros from us as we did not speak the language we went to the travel agency which had made the reservation so hold on apparently there was "um pico on the windshield" a priori an impact on the windshield of which we have no knowledge, moreover they sent us a photo where we see basically nothing 1 week later they debited us the money leaving us no way to verify the veracity of their words I do not recommend this agency
They give away your car that you prepaid if your flight is delayed. Avoid.
Not very friendly and unhelpful. Customers waiting while the person smokes 2 cigarettes.
Very easy car pickup and dropoff. We were a little bit early, but the staff were friendly and accommodating, and they explained everything about the Toll roads and other useful info. The car was decent, too. No complaints!
Queridos amigos, Gostaria de compartilhar minha experiencia recente com a Thrifty, uma empresa de aluguel de carros, que foi extremamente decepcionante e insatisfatoria. Como uma vovo de 70 anos, fui recebida de forma muito desagradavel e mal informada em sua agencia. Senti-me completamente enganada, pois nao compreendia todos os detalhes do contrato de locacao, e o vendedor foi rude e pouco prestativo. Assim que cheguei a agencia da Thrifty, fui recebida por um funcionario que parecia incomodado com minha presenca. Quando pedi informacoes sobre as diferentes opcoes de locacao, ele me respondeu de forma brusca e deu explicacoes confusas. Senti-me completamente perdida e frustrada, pois esperava ser ajudada e orientada corretamente. Devido a minha falta de compreensao e a ma atitude do vendedor, acabei assinando um contrato que nao correspondia de forma alguma ao que eu buscava. Mais tarde, percebi que fui enganada e que algumas condicoes do contrato eram muito desfavoraveis para mim. Infelizmente, devido a minha falta de conhecimento sobre os termos especificos de aluguel de carros, fui enredada nessa situacao. O que mais me decepcionou foi a falta de profissionalismo e cortesia por parte do vendedor. Como uma pessoa idosa, esperava ser tratada com respeito e receber a ajuda necessaria para compreender os detalhes do contrato. Infelizmente, isso nao aconteceu, e fui deixada sozinha para lidar com um contrato injusto e incompreensivel. Quero compartilhar essa experiencia com todos voces para que possam tomar uma decisao informada em suas proximas locacoes de carros. E importante escolher uma empresa que trate seus clientes com respeito, ofereca um servico de qualidade e forneca informacoes claras e compreensiveis. Estou desapontada com a Thrifty e nao recomendo esta empresa de aluguel de carros. Espero que minha experiencia sirva como um aviso para aqueles que estao considerando fazer negocios com eles. Dear friends, I would like to share my recent experience with Thrifty, a car rental company, which was extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory. As a 70 year old grandma, I was greeted very unpleasantly and poorly informed at your agency. I felt completely deceived, as I didn't understand all the details of the rental contract, and the salesperson was rude and unhelpful. As soon as I arrived at the Thrifty branch, I was greeted by an employee who seemed uncomfortable with my presence. When I asked for information about the different rental options, he responded brusquely and gave confusing explanations. I felt completely lost and frustrated, as I expected to be helped and guided correctly. Due to my lack of understanding and the seller's bad attitude, I ended up signing a contract that did not correspond in any way to what I was looking for. Later, I realized that I was deceived and that some conditions of the contract were very unfavorable for me. Unfortunately, due to my lack of knowledge about specific car rental terms, I was ensnared in this situation. What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism and courtesy on the part of the seller. As an elderly person, I expected to be treated with respect and given the help I needed to understand the details of the contract. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and I was left alone to deal with an unfair and incomprehensible contract. I want to share this experience with all of you so you can make an informed decision on your next car rentals. It is important to choose a company that treats its customers with respect, offers quality service and provides clear and understandable information. I am disappointed with Thrifty and do not recommend this car rental company. I hope my experience serves as a warning to those considering doing business with them. So far, The best experience I had with a car rental company. Prepared staff. Simple and luxury cars. They came with a really good offer to me for an Abarth 124 Spider. 100% recommended.
