Rented a car from them for a week. Everything ran smoothly from collection from the airport to dropping the car off outside of hours too. We opted for full coverage which was available at pickup. The staff spoke English, French and Portuguese which made collection great for tourists. The car was in great condition and we had a great trip. We would definitely use them again.

We were absolutely satisfied with OPORENT. The 2 brand new C3 was a treat to drive, we thoroughly enjoyed our round trip to rural areas of Portugalia and Spain. Although there was a small issue around the bankterminal the guy behind the counter was super patient and polite, the picking up went smoothly. We didn't experience any problem with dropping off as well. I recommend this company if one would like to find quality for reasonable price.

While I was in Porto, I parked on 384 Rua do Bonfim, Porto 4300-427 Portugalas recommended by my hotel, but a robber broke a small Triangular Glass Back left door of my rental car. However, I met another bad one. OPO rental car company charged 525 euros for a small Triangular Glass Back left door. When I complained that the price was exorbitant, an emloyee gave me a price list like a photo and he said company owner decided the price and it was fair. Do you think so too? If I go to Porto again, I won't use opo rental car.

Ignore the low scores from people that didn't check the car properly. When we take car we are accepting the condition you sign for. Same anywhere. Thanks so much for your really great service. Very bad experience with this agency. Unfriendly and above all very unpleasant staff. I am used to renting vehicles from other agencies, this one was the worst agency I have ever encountered. The cleaning inside the car leaves something to be desired, the vehicle was not clean. Lets not talk about the windshield, which fogs up constantly, all day long. Be careful, on arrival they charge extra because according to them they pick people up at the airport outside opening hours. I do not recommend this agency. Agency to flee. RUN AWAY.

Bad experience. I am used to reserving vehicles but this company should be avoided!! The staff is really rude and cold. We encountered a difficulty because the person who had reserved the vehicle had exceeded the limit of their credit card, we therefore asked to wait so that we could contact our agency for the increase, the gentleman made us understand that he did not have what to do while one of his colleagues was bored on his phone (he could therefore have taken over the file). The gentleman suggested to us that if we didnt have the deposit, he would make us pay for insurance as well. He informs us that we have a deposit of 2000 because we have not taken out insurance. When I read the previous comments, I think their deposit is 2000 for any type of vehicle!! They charged us 40 for supposedly the airport pickup which was not done during their opening hours, but we arrived around 9:00 a.m. Regarding the car, lets not talk about it. Fortunately we dont have to do the cleaning because the cleaning leaves something to be desired. During our stay, we had 2 days of rain, and we noticed that the windshield wipers were out of order. Arent you supposed to do checks? If customer satisfaction is not your strong point, I advise you to change jobs!

Lorsque je lis les precedents commentaires, je pense que leur caution est a 2000 pour n importe quel type de vehicule !! Ils nous ont facture 40 pour sois disant le pickup de l aeroport qui n a pas ete effectue dans leur horaires d ouverture, or nous etions arrives vers 9h00. Concernant la voiture n en parlons pas.. Heureusement que nous devons pas faire le nettoyage car le nettoyage ce laisse a desirer. Pendant notre sejour, nous avons eu 2 jours de pluies, et nous avons constate que les essuies glaces etaient HS. Vous n etes pas cense faire des controles ? Si la satisfaction client n est pas votre point fort, je vous conseille de changer de metier !

Its normal for people before us to have an accident with their car, a front-wheel drive car that loses its rear end at 20 kph on a roundabout with minimal rain (which you cant even call rain) and its unacceptable!!! Leaving France for a vacation in Portugal, this is the first time Ive rented a vehicle. When I read the reviews on the big companies, each more horrible than the other, I admit I didnt know what to do. I had the idea of asking the Portuguese people in France for advice on Facebook (sometimes its still useful ) and thats when I was advised oporent in Porto, not only were they very professionals but whats more they opened 1 hour before opening time for departure and took us to the airport without charging us extra. A big thank you to the 2 people who received us.

We were very happy with OPORent - everything went smoothly and we also liked the car (Citroen C3). The car was also relatively new with 15,000km and with Bluetooth and USB interface. The airport shuttle also worked great. We booked it through Check24 and everything went without any problems. Returning the car was also extremely quick and without any complications. Upon request, the Via Verde transponder was also available, simple and without complications. We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Portugal :)

We booked through Check 24. I specifically looked for a landlord with a low deposit in advance because many providers in Portugal want very high deposits. The choice fell on Oporent (via Aurum Cars) because they had a 0 deposit (+ up to 300 fuel deposit). Thats what it said on the voucher we presented to Oporent. On site we were told we had to pay a deposit of 2,000 because we had fully comprehensive insurance in DE. In the end, due to a lack of alternatives, we ended up depositing 2,000. In addition, the staff was very unfriendly. Due to the high deposit, we wanted all damages to be recorded. The employee then said he doesnt enter anything like that, if we do that, youll take a closer look when returning it. Luckily there were no problems with the return and we received the deposit back. Nevertheless, never again Oporent, we have never experienced anything like that even though we often rent vehicles

Zum Gluck gab es bei der Ruckgabe tatsachlich keine Probleme und wir haben die Kaution zuruck erhalten. Trotzdem nie wieder Oporent, sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt obwohl wir oft Fahrzeuge mieten
