Absolutely awful car hire. Worst experience I ever had and I will report these to whatever authorities that I can. 1. Charged EUR100 for late pick up of car, despite having told them through Carjet ( Booking Company) that I would be late. 2. Charged EUR4.50 for parking - beside the office) 3 Charged EUR420 on return for a tiny scratch which I definitely did not put on the car. He just picked the number out of his head - and said the whole bumper would have to be replaced. I had full premium insurance but I still had to pay, or as he said, they would take it from my Credit Card regardless. The thing about it was that he hardly looked at the seat all, but went straight to the tiny scratch? Did not look anywhere else and had to get on his knees to take the photograph. Total fraudster. Avoid at all cost!! Your affordable car rental will be a nightmare. Car park 4 Faro Airport!

Do not rent a car here! Car parked in public car park before 9:00, keys returned after 9:00. They charge a surcharge of EUR 40 because the car is parked before 9:00 am in the public car park. I did not agree because this is not in the contract and the keys were handed in after 9:00 but was still deducted from the credit card. Don't rent a car!! 1 star is too much

Great experience with Local Cars. Fast check in. Car was at airport parking lot so no waiting for shuttle. Miguel was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend them ( rental in August)

1 star is too high for a review for these con artists. Hired a car at faro airport and treated it with kid gloves only for them to find a scratch at top of the wheel arch which they blamed on me and said they would take my deposit. The scratch was tiny but it was rusty and rust does not form in 9 days. They charged my card PS100, they are out to scam, AVOID

Regrettable and scammers! They made us pay 5 euros for the parking lot that was just 12 meters away. And then they make us pay for supposedly making a hole in the roof that we DID NOT do because that was already there before. Not to mention that it was almost non-existent, and they take 200 euros out of pocket. Very bad service, very rude, it is not worth renting in this place.

Fatal deal. Extra charges without notifying them. 5 extra to put your car in parking lot 4 instead of parking lot 1, when they are literally next door. They do not have an updated vehicle damage report so at least you get 200 in extra charges for any damage that you have not been able to prove that you did not do. They refuse to provide the claims book and play with your limited time at the airport. The prices seem cheap but I ended up paying + 300 per car for a week. I WILL NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY AGAIN. 0/5 very inhumane and abusive treatment.

The car was brought to our motorhome on the pitch on time and there was a detailed briefing. The employee was extremely friendly and respectful. Although we rented for 3 days, we were able to use the vehicle for almost 4 days. The Corsa was clean and technically perfect. After being returned to the parking lot, the vehicle was filled with fuel and received without any defects. The next day the blocked deposit was released again. Great and impeccable service. Obwohl 3 Tage Anmietung konnten wir fast 4 Tage das Fahrzeug nutzen. Der Corsa war sauber und technisch einwandfrei. NEVER go to this place. They literally stole our money. After having taken the 500 euro deposit from us (which they said was frozen, but in reality it was no longer in the account), when we returned the car (in perfect condition and also viewed by them), they told us that the money they would have returned them to us a few days later. Almost a month has passed and they never gave us this money back. They dont even respond to our emails.
