this is the worst office in Europe of this company, I always pay premium rent with full casco. This time I damaged the car, I was billed for 375EUR, when I asked to provide me with a document or send an invoice to my email or mail to my address in Portugal, I was treated rudely, I wanted to write a review in the complaints book but the employee began to threaten me that they would put me on the black list and I would never be given a car in Portugal again. I also had another booking, the car was not given, the money was not returned. The person in the photo threatened to blacklist me. This is a disgrace for such a company, I have been using their services for 3 years, this is the first time such rudeness has occurred
We found Carlos at OK Mobility Porto Airport extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. When asked, he took time to explain features of the car, and to ensure that the satvav was working correctly - with the voice directions and no background music. He remembered us 12 days later, and was similarly friendly and efficient. He also speaks excellent English.
STAY AWAY FROM OKMOBILITY! We paid in advance 200EUR for our car and we thought that would be it but afterwards we had to pay 480EUR for assurance + 150EUR and it's all just a scam! We never agreed on the 480EUR for assurance!!!! They just want you to sign an not read everything! SCAM: when we tried for the 150EUR they said that the card doesn't work. (But it did and it took off the 480EUR instead) and then they let us pay for the actual 150EUR in advance. If you wanna keep your money stay away from this company!!! 1 star is too much!! 0/5!!!!
It is cheap and if you avoid all their scams can be fine, but they try to scam on everything, including fuel charge, which the person at the counter pretended is mandatory (after speaking with customer service not true), repeatedly (3 times!!!) pretended to initiate a refund which they then either didn't truly refund or tried to charge back listing it as an advance on updated invoices. When we gave the card they asked for proof that no scratches etc where there for maaany parts (the report they handed us in the beginning showed no scratches at all). Only very good photos and videos helped us against that. Customer service is hard to reach and not very helpful. In the end, we did manage to leave with the affordable price we had initially booked, but the way there was very painful and if we had not been very on guard and then afterwards kept them honest tons of times, it would have been a mess. You can't trust anything they do or say, and even if it's in writing they may try to reclaim it later (although then you have proof and can win in the end).
I don't usually downvote services in Google, but when I do it is for good reason. Like many before me - some of which commented here - I fell prey to the credit card / insurance scam. In a nutshell: your credit card is not valid no matter what, you must purchase an insurance for 400EUR on top of your booking value else off you go to the street. Only the airport shuttle drivers showed professionalism, everybody else just stood by. Avoid at all costs, there are much better, cheaper rental companies at the airport
I've been a loyal customer of OK Mobility. Whenever I need to rent a car, I always choose OK Mobility and have done so at their branches in Porto, Tenerife, Istanbul, and Madeira. I've consistently been satisfied with the condition of the vehicles and the quality of service. However, I must bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred during my recent rental return at the Porto branch on August 30, 2024, around 16:35. During the vehicle inspection, an employee discovered damage on all four wheel rims. Although I took photos of the car when I picked it up, I regretfully forgot to check the wheels. The employee suspected that the damage happened during my rental period. I am certain that this damage was present before my rental, but I acknowledge my responsibility under the rental agreement, and I will pay for the repairs. The main reason I'm writing this review is due to the unacceptable behavior of the supervisor, Anna. After the initial inspection, I was directed to Anna to discuss the matter. Despite my assurances that I did not cause the damage, Anna accused me of lying. Her unprofessional and condescending attitude shocked me, especially when she refused to answer how much I would be charged or provide her full name for my complaint. The conversation was emotional because I was called a liar. When I asked "Why are you shouting?" she said "Shut up and don't talk to me." This experience was incredibly humiliating, and I felt deeply disrespected. I find Anna's behavior to be unprofessional and completely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing role. It has left me with such a negative impression that I no longer feel comfortable renting from the OK Mobility branch in Porto. I want to emphasize that my complaint is not about paying for the repairs, as stipulated by the contract. It's about the way I was treated by Anna. I urge OK Mobility to take disciplinary action against her, as her conduct is damaging to the company's reputation.
They say the less possible to take the max. money from you. 3 hours to take the car on the first day because the card is not with the name of my wife. They cannot change the reservation and use my name instead. We had to do everything with easyjet and our banks. Don't forget to take photos of the car before leaving, before they will charge you for everything they see on it even if it is not you. After touching the car, they just tell you "it's fresh. It is your fault." Do not accept to take the second driver if he is not driving, they do not tell you they will charge for this but they do... The guys right before us had to pay twice for their reservation because they paid for the prepaid with another car. The guy operating the shuttle goes to take a coffee and asks you to put the luggage in the vehicle. Nobody helps you even you have 2 small two kids. Fortunately their was another nice passenger helping us. If you can avoid this company, do it !!!!
An employee named Diogo was excellent. He was extremely helpful, stayed late and explained so much useful information for us. He told us many things that the Lisbon location did not tell us which were important and helpful for our trip. He turned our whole day around and really provided excellent service. This location was great due to his effort.
