Was in Platanias 2 weeks ago and asked for a car to rent for 2 days and then drop at Chania airport. Was clearly advised not to drive to Balos for (offroad) insurance reasons and how to pick up a boat for going there (best decision of the trip when we then drove to Phalasarna and rented a speed boat). Everything was ok, but, when dropping the car in a hurry to catch my plane, I forgot a bag in it. Support via WhatsApp was great in then arranging for my bag to be shipped intact back to Germany

I do not recommend this car rental company to anyone!!! I paid a penalty of 200 euros because I went to Balos, when I signed the contract they said I couldnt go there. Rented a car here, and can definitely be recommended. They are very helpful, give you what you want. Rented a mini cooper cab for 1 day. Great car, with some signs of use, but the people who work here were very adamant about taking pictures before you picked up the car, and asked you to do the same if you were in doubt. Service minded good people. Would like to rent a car here again.

They gave me a dead body and not a car for 100 euros because they said if I paid in cash it would be cheaper, and after returning it, even though the car was exactly the same as I picked it up, they demanded a 200 euro fine because I drove it to the Balos, and apparently I didnt. I should. Its a pity that no one mentioned it when renting. Moreover, the car had no fuel, I returned it with more fuel and they didnt settle it. Yesterday I rented a Peugeot 207 convertible and I was shocked at what a piece of junk it was, the rear-view mirror was practically without a mirror, the side mirrors were missing, I had to open the window and do it manually, the door panels and the plastics on the sills were falling off, the fuel gauge was stuck in one position. The car drove poorly, it chose its own path when braking and even without braking. Fortunately, I didnt have any plans for a long trip, so I just put up with it. After returning to Platinias, I told the owner that the car needed a mechanic, who made his eyes wide open and pretended that everything was fine. All I had to do was go my way. A few days ago while I was taking a walk in Platanias I saw the office of this company and since it was close to my hotel I went in to ask for information. The director Mrs. Dina was there. Friendly, smiling, very kind, she first gave us advice on the most beautiful places and then did everything to find us a comfortable and economical car. In fact, we took a Nissan micra for five days, the car ran very well and we had a lot of fun!! Next time I go to Crete I will definitely rent from Antilia again.

Rented a cab and it literally stopped working! Instead of giving us a discount they demanded that we pay extra for gas! It also broke down in the rain and we couldnt close the cab which lead to us being drenched and also missing our free dinner at a close by restaurant. Real bad place!
