We had a great experience with the self guided trip to Terceira and San Miguel. We were booking fairly last minute, yet the agent was able to get ideal flights and hotels. I was hesitant to just book through the website, so I called and the customer service was top notch and reassuring. We did not book any extra experiences through them as we preferred to hike and explore on our own. Getting rental cars was important for independent exploring- but you need to be a confident driver as the roads are narrow and winding! We will use them again for sure and want to return to explore more of these astonishingly beautiful islands!

Azores Getaway provided the guidance we needed for a fabulous visit to the Azores. They recommended which islands to see and how much time to spend at each. They helped with hotel and car rental choices. Best of all, they did all the grunt work - booking all hotels, flights and rentals. My only criticism is while they always responded quickly to my questions, it was always with a different agent. I would have preferred dealing with the same person throughout the booking. However, overall, our trip could not have gone smoother or been more enjoyable!

We purchased the Azores Getaways package to travel to Lisbon, Terceira and Sao Miguel for 9 nights. Azores Getaways booked our flights, hotels and excursions. It was a trip of a lifetime and very affordable! Highly recommend. Only thing that isn't great is that booking flights through a travel agency makes things a bit more difficult when trying to manager your trip (checking in, picking seats, etc) but we managed to get around those issues fine.

We recently used Azores Getaway to plan our trip to Sao Miguel, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. They handled everything from our hotel accommodations to the car rental seamlessly, making our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. The hotel they selected for us was comfortable and well-located, and the car rental process was smooth and convenient. We were able to explore the island at our own pace, thanks to the reliable vehicle provided. The only downside was the parking situation. The hotel did not have parking available, which meant we had to find street parking. While parking in Sao Miguel is relatively inexpensive and free after 7 PM, it would have been helpful to have this information beforehand. I recommend confirming the parking arrangements if you plan to rent a car. Despite this minor inconvenience, we had a wonderful time and were very satisfied with Azores Getaway's services. Their attention to detail and excellent customer service made our trip to Sao Miguel memorable. We highly recommend them for anyone planning a visit to the Azores!

Visit to the Azores. I have travelled extensively throughout my life and I have to say they are incredible. I decided to try them out of the blue, I usually always book my trip on my own. I went to the Azores website and saw some of the reviews and decided to give them a try. I told them what I wanted to see in the Azores. Within an hour they had a detailed proposal sent to me with a 10 day 3 island hopping. I called them back tweak the trip. And booked it. All flights, car rental, pickup from hotel and tour arrangement went has planned. If there is any questions during the trip I call or email and a response is done within an hour. The best thing to happen to us on our recent trip to the Azores Islands and Portugal is the Azores Getaways. To sum it up, we found them to be extremely professional.It was an amazing experience to take this tour with Azores getaway. The level of help, support, professionalism were wonderful throughout the journey. Response times to all our requests were immediate. The itinerary provided was so wonderful . We got too see so many places because of the well designed itinerary. The hotel room in Lisbon was the only drawback. We would have preferred a river facing view. The only setback was the Taxi service. Not once but twice we were let down by them. And on our trip back from Lisbon to the airport the taxi arrived ten minutes late and then the car developed a malfunction. We had to wait 30 minutes before another car replaced it. They seriously need to change the taxi service. Other than this minor blip it was heaven. Thank you one and all at Azores Getaway. We are in love with the Azores getaway staff. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. And we realised that we had got a good discount at every stop we made.

I used Azores Getaways to plan a 3-week vacation. They did a great job coordinating 7 flights and 4 different stops with great accommodations! Much better price for flights and lodging with breakfast than I could get on my own. Therefore we enjoyed a wonderful vacation ~ Thanks!
