Great experience. The car was relatively new and in perfect condition. They picked us up at the airport and dropped us back of, much smoother experience than other people with the big car rental companies (they had to wait in long lines in the airport for over an hour). Drop off was also very smooth (we did pay for the insurance so not sure how it would be without). Definitely would recommend!

We had a great experience in February 2023! The car was new and well maintained. The price was reasonable, we also added an insurance just in case, didn't use it but felt safe :) And the service was just amazing. The managers were friendly and very helpful with all our questions (thank you, guys!). I strongly recommend this car rental! Make sure you book well in advance as many tourists are expected this year.

We had chosen this agency following the good reviews in terms of supposedly easy communication, etc.... Except that when they came to pick up our car, they had canceled the reservation (nearly 4 months before) without warning us or sending us a confirmation (I think they are still looking...). And of course with 50% non-recoverable penalties. On the other hand, they were OK to re-rent us another more expensive car, telling us that we were lucky because at the end of July, there were no more cars available. No explanation or excuse, just an ultimatum: take it or leave it. So no, I do not recommend this agency nor the manager Ana Barbosa.

A STEAL!! They literally stole 70 euros from my account. Let me explain: when we picked up the vehicle, we noticed that it was not in good condition. We alerted the employee, who in turn pointed out the defects in the contract (mismatched rims and some scratches). Despite these conditions, we trusted in the teams common sense, as everything was fine. During the trip, a plug came out (which was already loose), and we didnt notice it. When we went to return the vehicle, the employee approached us with a contemptuous attitude and asked if we had the cap with us. Obviously we didnt even hear the plug pop out. They took 70 euros out of our account, for a tampon that cost 20 and was already loose. Finally, when we requested the complaints book (which was already full) they told me to complain on the Internet. Availability to solve problems is 0. They only care about billing.

Alertamos a funcionaria, que por sua vez apontou no contrato os defeitos (jantes desencaixadas e alguns riscos). Apesar destas condicoes, confiamos no bom senso da equipa, visto que estava tudo aponte. Durante a viagem, saltou um tampao (o que ja estava solto), e nos nao reparamos. Quando fomos devolver a viatura, a funcionaria chegou-se a nos com uma atitude de desprezo e questionou se tinhamos o tampao conosco. Obviamente nem ouvimos o tampao saltar. Tiraram-nos 70 euros da conta, por um tampao que custa 20 e que ja estava solto. Por fim, quando solicitamos o livro de reclamacoes (que ja estava cheio) mandaram-me reclamar na Internet. A disponibilidade para resolver problemas e 0. So se importam com a faturacao.

I have to give one star, because despite giving a months notice of the cancellation of our trip to the Azores for a major reason (risk pregnancy), the company makes no exception and keeps the 50% charged for advance of the total reservation without any type of alternative. I recommend other companies on the island, e.g. e.g. Another company we hired in Terceira was completely understanding and waived any charges.

Stay away from this company. We wrote to 3Rent in May (!) that we would like to return our car a day earlier in September (Sunday instead of Monday). The answer can be prompt that the contract will be adjusted accordingly. That was also the case, we were actually allowed to hand in the car the day before, but we still had to pay for the day we no longer needed (Monday). First the saleswoman said that I hadnt explicitly asked for a refund (very funny), then she hid behind the terms and conditions and finally she said that her answer in May was written misleadingly. I have rented many cars and have never been treated so badly. Money is gladly accepted, customer service, no thanks. It remains to be mentioned that 3Rent does not have a counter at the airport and you have to be picked up and brought back to the airport. And the fun fact at the end: the first message on the display was that the oil needed to be changed.

Dem war auch so, wir durften tatsachlich das Auto einen Tag vorher abgeben, mussten aber den nicht mehr benotigten Tag (Montag) dennoch bezahlen. Zuerst meinte die Verkauferin, ich hatte nicht explizit eine Ruckerstattung gewunscht (sehr lustig), dann hat sie sich hinter der AGBs versteckt und zum Schluss hat sie gesagt, ihre Antwort Im Mai sei halt missverstandlich geschrieben. Ich habe schon viele Autos gemietet, so schlecht wurde ich noch nie behandelt. Geld wird gerne genommen, Kundendienst, nein danke. Bleibt zu erwahnen, dass 3Rent keinen Schalter am Flughafen hat und man abgeholt und wieder zum Flughafen gebracht werden muss. Und der Funfact zum Schluss: die erste Meldung auf dem Display war, dass das Oel gewechselt werden muss.

I wholeheartedly recommend it! Excellent contact, professional and nice customer service. The rental rules are very simple and clear. Possibility to adapt the offer to individual needs. We booked the car several months in advance, it was easy to make adjustments to the reservation resulting from such a long planning time for the visit to the island, and there was no problem with extending the rental by one day.
