When we visited Carspot, we were impressed by the selection of quality vehicles available. We found a great used car with low mileage and all the safety and infotainment features on our wish list (except for park-assist :) Being new to Portugal, there was much we didn't know. Mr. Hugo Mota was both courteous and helpful throughout the process. In addition, he personally delivered the vehicle to our general vicinity, which we greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased a Peugeot from CarSpot. Being from the US and new to Portugal, I was a bit weary about the first time car buying experience. Our sales person, Andreza, was extremely direct and professional. There was a small issue with the car and CarSpot was immediately willing to address it at no cost. Buying a car online feels a bit frightening, but I was lucky to find the perfect car for us on Carspot in Lisbon, and with the good help from Andreza I could just travel to their office in Lisbon and pick up our Renault Clio in perfect condition. Thanks specially to Andreza.
I just bought Audi A1 at Carspot. I arrived in Portugal two months ago so I know close to nothing about the process. Marco was a huge help for everything. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but very patient in answering al my questions. And he accommodates every small request I made. So ask for Marco if you go there
Horror experience. I strongly recommend people not buy car from this company. I buy a car in May and this company still not giving me the documents of registration(including invoice-----fatura. Normally they should give you within a week to prove you really buy the car). Not likely to reply emails. Ask me to go to their shop to "fix some issue" after 6 months. When I go to their shop, they tell me that they "Make a mistake" to give me a wrong plate number. Ask me to changes the insurance registered plate number because of their terrible mistakes. And now they just want to give me another bad plate number without my agreement. And they still not give me the documents I should have for tax department/Transportation department(nearly 6 months after I paid all the money). DON'T BUY CARS FROM THIS SHOP! 20210220 Thank you very much to Carspot, finally they help me to change to correct plate number to my car. And give me an invoice with an effective date for another 60 days. It is already 9 months and there is no documents(including documents to prove my car is already registered in fiscal department). I want to know if it is normal procedure in Portugal to buy cars have no documents? 20201027 Well, I am so happy that you reply so fast, unlike your registration. I believe that you already mixed up a few things. 1. I am complaining your processing time. You spent 6 months to give me .....only an invoice and without any other documents you should give me within a week originally. From your wording, I can see that you think it is not a problem to take 6 months of time to generate an invoice only and said "You are already have it in hand". 2. You exchanged my concept. I buy the car and you give me the plate number to drive this car and buy insurance FIVE MONTHS AGO. There are two cases : a. If the plate number is registered already to another car which was sold already, Carspot is going to give me an invalid plate number for driving on the road for 5 months. b. If the plate number is "generate" by system, it means my car got this plate number by generation first. And Carspot just want to get it back because of some unspeakable reason. I ask you if I can choice plate number in the email because I want to test you about the steps. You do not reply me in email as normal but I know you already received from your reaction here. I believe it is not a "culture" problem as I believe that it is not a "culture" for Portugal to sell cars like this. You still not register my car to IMT and AT after 6 months and you are still "happy" that "everything is fine"?
I bough my car just after the lockdown and even though IMT was very long to answer, Marco has been super helpful all along the way, I have a very limited Portuguese and he has been super nice to me. Very happy with the car that was at a good price considering the prices of cars in Portugal. I recommend!!
