We rented 2 50cc scooters last july with Algarve Riders for a week, it was an amazing experience, we could explore all the city and the best locations perfectly, very comfortable and of course, at the best price. All of their workers are extreamly peaceful and welcomnig, if we ever come back we won't hesitate and get another one here!
We rented a scooter 125 cc in Portimao with Algarve Riders and our experience is absolutely positive. Excellent customer service and the scooter was top, we could ride anywhere very easily. Definitely recommended to rent a scooter in Algarve and with this company especially!

Very bad experience Do not rent scooter if you want to be safe !!! -Our initial scooter was not able to start so he had to test 2 others -The final scooter they gave us had 3 part broken : rear mirror, speed an kilometre. Also, the max speed was not 55 to 60 as advertised but 45... The scoot was a danger to every other car but mostly to oursleves. We still wonder what else was partly broken ... but it was really not safe so yes we should get a refund but did not... And will never rent there as for my own safety. To avoid for your safetey
I rented a 50cc scooter for a day, and unfortunately after few kilometres the engine lost power and I couldn't use it. Your friendly guy came with the new one in few minutes. I got the extra tank of fuel in an act of apology. It was nice. Guys are friendly, explain everything and despite some minor problem I would choose this place again.
Algarve Riders Portimao were super helpful in renting out a scooter at very short notice - they saved the day for us! The scooter and insurance were reasonably priced and the scooter was reliable. We highly recommend Algarve Riders for your scooter needs as they are super nice and genuine.
We were four friends, rented two 125cc scooters. All great conditions, we didn't have any problems, everything worked super well. Nice staff and communication. I have had enormous issues with other rental scooter places in my travels, but this place is top !
Great service. I was able to rent a nice maxi 125 scooter from here for 3 days for just EUR101 pound (without insurance) and then about EUR20 for the insurance, and I put about EUR9 gas in the tank, this got us EVERYWHERE! Me and my girlfriend were able to then use the scooter to visit Albufeira, slide and splash and other places and areas out of Portimao on our own watch and we're totally independent of needing taxis and busses, renting a scooter made the whole holiday hassle free, and you only need a UK driving license. However the road to Albufeira is rather treacherous, an I am an experienced rider so I wouldn't recommend out of town trips unless you don't mind getting out under a bit of pressure on the bike. The guys at the store are friendly and helpful, would recommend to all my friends
