The lady who worked there - very rude. Spoke to the locals like friends , tourists on the other hand like prison officer. So rude Locals came in , served before us. Dont think she should be in a customer facing role. When we asked questions just got a shoulder shrug?
Appalling customer service - rude and abrupt are the only words I can use to describe the woman we dealt with when collecting and returning the car. When returning we were waiting for 30 minutes and then they proceeded to serve somebody who arrived 20 minutes after us and when I asked when the PS800 deposit would be returned back to my card I just got an eye roll and very vague answer from the woman who served us.
We had to a gas Card but it was not in the car we waited long time and Nothing happened
Fine car rental agency. Same building as StarSul. Book in advance because there is a shortage of cars. Everything was fine for me. They do charge a daily fee for using ViaVerde.
We have had an issue with a car we have picked up in Lisboa which they told us to ignore. We then went to Hertz in Portimao and ask them to fix it. Within 10min they fixed our issue and this was exactly what we have expected from them and this deserves a good rating.
We hired a car from Hertz 12 days ago The service in showroom at point of hire was good but our bank account has still not been credited with the security deposit of 900EUR taken from the account at time of hire The phone number provided is never answered or when it is answered they just cut you off and nobody replies to emails This is not good enough for a company with the international standing of Hertz and 900EUR is a considerable sum of money
Hired a car here, only the service was very poor. There is no right protocol for customer service hertz needs to pay attention and eduacate there employees. Furthermore give some documention for returning the car , for proof of dismissing the car. Hope this changes in the future
Had to wait on the steps as they close down for a couple hours in the middle of the day.
