Terrible experience with this company. They forgot to add a seat for my 2-year old in the car and they didn't have any available when I went to pick it up. Although they admitted it was their fault the reaction from the reception was like "Well, that's what it is now". I understand that they might had not been able to solve this but they didn't seem to be willing to try either or show some understanding of the situation they were putting me in. Their suggested solution was to go and rent elsewhere. I was leaving Porto on that day with hotels booked on my way to Lisbon and that was really stressful and nearly ruined our holidays. I had to spend a few hours in the morning trying to find a car immediately which of course I ended up overpaying.

When we dropped off our rental car, the person at the reception desk told us that we could pay the tolls online. That is NOT the case if you live outside of Portugal. Now we are subject to fines because Turiscar staff don't understand how the tolls work.

Avoid absolutely because if the reception at the agency is courteous and seems professional, beware of the sums which will be taken from you in tolls, badges etc. well beyond the sums announced and in total confusion.

A falta de cuidado vai custar muito caro!
