Thank you. Great experience. Super nice guy, gives lots of Tipps and advice for the car or even spots to go. This van is all you need if you spend a few days to a week in Portugal. Longer trips I would suggest a bit bigger vehicle.

Was really happy with the service and the check-in and check-out procedure.... But most important with the awesome van! Really loved the build of vanbox and the shower and kitchen equipment. Saw some other Dutchies with also a small van, but it wasn't that good as vanbox. Sorry for my late review! You deserved an earlier review, but still really looking forward to rent a vanbox in the future!

Highly recommend Vanbox, had a great experience renting a van for a Portuguese surf trip. Van is perfect size for a solo traveler or couple, and very well laid out and equipped. Compact size makes it easy to drive around, and very economical in terms of fuel. Also the owner Pedro is an absolute legend.

He even drove back to Lisbon to give ours stuff back to us, when we forgot it after van drop off. Van is well equipped, has everything you need for camping. Everything went perfect with renting a van from VANBOX. Pedro, the owner, was really kind and always helpful. The Van has a nice size and is easy to drive. In the Inside you can find everything you need, a bed, a kitchen, a small fridge, electricity, an outside shower, and so on :) I would really recommend it.

What an amazing experience I had with Vanbox! Their van is just the right size for one/two people and very easy to drive. You can park it anywhere with no problem and enjoy the beautiful views from inside. I had the time of my life, with beautiful sunsets, sound of the waves and sand on my feet. Plus, the staff went beyond their way to make sure I spent a nice birthday, offering me a present and good advice. Will rent again :)

All in all it was a successful holiday for us. First we spent a few days in Lisbon and then we went on a trip with a VANBOX vehicle. First of all I have to praise the service. A very friendly welcome and a good explanation of the vehicles functions. A few tips for places and camping spots were given. We spent 6 nights in the camper and drove to Faro. Unfortunately there was a small incident with the electricity on the first day. Unfortunately we had no electricity to charge our cell phones. We made contact via WhatsApp, after a few attempts to clarify the problem via WhatsApp, we were asked to return to Lisbon to solve the problem. The vehicle was exchanged and we continued traveling in another vehicle. All in all, the vehicle is exactly the right one if you want to explore Portugal. The campsites in Portugal are quite inexpensive (the most expensive one cost 28 per night). When it comes to tolls, you get class 1, which is the cheap option. Since we cooked in the camper every day, we also tried out the option of using a table or stools in the camper. I have to say, it works but is not comfortable. A much better option was to put a table with chairs in front of the camper and eat there, drink some wine and beer and play board games. The bed is enough, but you shouldnt expect too much. They are thin mats that dont offer much comfort, but are still a pleasant way to spend the night. We also booked sleeping bags with pillows. The sleeping bags are good and well maintained. Unfortunately the pillows are a bit too small and we decided to buy pillows. That was a very good decision because it meant we slept worlds better. Finally, I have to say, the vehicle was a good companion for a few days in Portugal.

Alles in allem war es fur uns ein gelungener Urlaub. Zuerst verbrachten wir ein paar Tage in Lissabon und im Anschluss unternahmen wir eine Reise mit einem Fahrzeug von VANBOX. Zu aller erst muss ich den Service loben. Ein sehr sympathischer Empfang, sowie eine gute Erklarung der Funktionen des Fahrzeuges. Es wurden ein paar Tipps fur Orte sowie Camping Platze mitgeteilt. Wir waren 6 Nachte mit dem Camper unterwegs und fuhren bis nach Faro. Am ersten Tag gab es leider einen kleinen Zwischenfall mit der Elektrizitat. Wir hatten leider keinen Strom um unsere Handys zu laden. Uber WhatsApp nahmen wir Kontakt auf, nach ein paar Versuchen das Problem uber WhatsApp zu klaren, wurden wir gebeten nochmals nach Lissabon zuruckzukehren um das Problem zu losen. Das Fahrzeug wurde ausgetauscht und wir reisten mit einem anderen Fahrzeug weiter. Alles in allem ist das Fahrzeug genau das richtige, wenn man Portugal erkunden mochte. Die Campingplatze in Portugal sind recht preiswert (Der teuerste kostete 28 die Nacht) Bei der Maut kommt man in Klasse 1, was die gunstige Option ist. Da wir taglich in dem Camper kochten, probierten wir auch die Moglichkeit des Tisches oder der Hocker im Camper aus. Dazu muss ich sagen, es funktioniert ist aber nicht komfortabel. Viel besser war die Option einen Tisch mit Stuhlen vor den Camper zu stellen und dort zu essen, etwas Wein und Bier trinken sowie Gesellschaftsspiele zu spielen. Das Bett reicht aus, man sollte aber nicht zu viel erwarten. Es sind dunne Matten die nicht sonderlich viel Komfort bieten, aber dennoch eine angenehme Moglichkeit die Nacht zu verbringen. Wir buchten noch Schlafsacke mit Kissen dazu. Die Schlafsacke sind gut und gepflegt. Die Kissen sind leider etwas zu klein und wir entschieden uns Kissen zu kaufen. Das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung, da wir dadurch um Welten besser schliefen. Abschliessend muss ich sagen, das Fahrzeug war ein guter Begleiter fur ein paar Tage in Portugal.
