Amazing service ! Thank you Bruna !!!
Excellent service and very efficient. Better than in the states.
Very good service from Bruna and Reinaldo Edit, new rental this day everything went super smooth one more time. I was welcomed by Francisco and the experience was all good again. I very often rent car in the Lisboa area. I have been trying many car rental agency in the Parque da nacoes areas and honestly the quality of service is often really bad (to my standards at least). Long waiting times in and out, communication not nice ect... Well super pleasantly suprised here. Maybe because if's of season and easier but super quick check in and Check out from Bruna and Reinaldo. Car was perfect, easy parking and you give it back. The location is not super convenient as it's quite hard to reach by walk and can be unconvenient with bus but will honestly be back here anyways. Thank you both
Have always rented cars through Hertz, but my last trip to Portugal wasn't so good. I was given a rate for the car with insurance and unlimited miles. They billed me the day I picked it up for 202 euros more than my rate, and 10 days after dropping it off, billed me another 100 euros. NO ONE answers the phone, and have received no additional bill as explanation. Have another trip planned, and worried about renting a car again overseas. I have written with pertinent information, but have heard nothing back yet.
Rented a commercial vehicle at Hertz Prior Velho. Brand new car, fair price, great service in and out. Bruna made the experience more delightful, my thanks to her!
1. Rents electric car and tells me to use the card on the key chain to pay at the charging stations. 2. I try to use the card at 4 different charging stations and does not work. 3. I try calling hertz for 30 minutes and nobody answers. 3. I drive to hertz store and the lady says "what do you want me to do? I can't help you." 4. I call hertz again and finally someone answers and they tell me to go to the airport to change the car. 5. I lose a day of tourism because I can't use the car or it won't have enough charge to get back to the airport. 6. I arrive at the airport and the guy says there's an app I have to install and then tells me "why did you rent an electric car if you don't know how to use one?" I wish I could say this was not a normal experience in portugal, but here people have a special combination or low IQ, low work ethic, and low professionalism that makes everyday experiences with businesses a nightmare. What was shocking is that this was with what I thought was a reputable brand, but turns out it was just as bad decision as any you can make in portugal.
No respect for the local people. Everyday there are trucks unloading cars on a busy road affecting hundreds of locals who are commuting to their homes and jobs, causing traffic jams and high risk of accidents. Shameful behaviour from an international company such as Hertz.
Not a good experience at all! It took us the better part of 3 hours to get the car rental straightened out at this location. When we originally picked up our vehicle the location didn't have the class type we had originally booked for. We needed a vehicle that would accommodate 4 passengers and 4 luggage's. When we booked with the agent at the call center, they reassured us that this location had plenty of cars that would fit our class type. I had read the reviews before booking (which were poor) I should of reconsidered and dealt with another car rental company in Lisbon. Their care team had no choice but to upgrade us to a Mercedes C Class wagon. This wasn't our request, it was the only car that suited our needs. We had unpacked our original rental (which was a small crossover) to the C Class to find out the back sit was completely wet. At that point we had to unload the car for the second time to reload for the third time. The 2 agents who were assisting us were starting to lose patience and were talking about us in their Portuguese language. When my wife confronted them, they went quite and turned red. Usually I wouldn't write a negative review, but it is how we were dismissed as customers. We were given an upgrade which we appreciated, but it wasn't our fault they had not cars to accommodate our original request. When I had followed up with head office and the manager at the location. I was dismissed, they all said I was lucky to be given a Mercedes at no extra cost - again, I DIDN"T ASK FOR IT. They are missing the point, we spend over 2 hours at the location, put us through aggravation and dismissed us like we created this situation. My advise is to reconsider dealing with this company. There are plenty of other car rental companies you can deal with who probably care about their customers experiences.
