The reception team are the best in the airport. Kind, informative and have the best prices. Their customer service is outstanding and I would recommend them to everyone.
Edna is the best! Such a friendly welcome. The pick up was very easy and Edna explained everything very well. On top of that, we asked for some recommendations and she gave us a list with locations. We really had fun and it was a great first impression of Madeira.
Our car was supposedly not ready when we arrived at the desk, and we would have to pay a 140 euro supplement for a different car. After waiting for an hour, we got to the desk again and they told us our car may not be a good pick for the mountains, and offered to switch to another car for 100 euros. Basically, they were trying to screw us over. We declined, and were given a car which had been waiting there all the time (cold engine, wasn't used in the last couple of hours). The car was beat up, pretty much every panel with a dent or scratch, and the tire pressure warning was on. The only good thing I can mention was about handing the car in, which was really swift, but I guess it had to be because you wouldn't have been able to distinguish any new damage from the damage already on there.
We rent a car here in the end of September for 10 days. Everything was good, the car quite new and almost without damages. Process of check in and drop off was smooth. We were offered to upgrade the car to one with a bigger engine (originally we chose a 1.0 engine) for an additional payment of almost 200EUR, but we declined. No one insisted further :) Recommend!
Excelent service, we are very happy with the car we got (Nissan Juke). We opted for full insurance and we paid 100EUR as a fuel deposit, which were returned immediately after drop off.
Everyone was very kind and helpful from the beginning to the end. The car was very clean and was brand new. An overall good experience with Madeira Rent!!
After being most likely scammed by another car rental company, we had to reserve directly at the airport for same day rental. After getting an estimate from 2 other companies for automatic cars, they offered by far the best rate with a better car suited for the island. Jessica was very professional and accommodating, we thank you for your help. The car was clean and we really enjoyed driving it even in the narrow and steep streets of the island. I recommend this company for your stay in Madeira.
We had reservation with another company but we when we were geting a car company didnt accept our credit card(must have credit not debit card). After we check all possible options we took car from Madeira rent in airport- Rodolfo was really nice and helpful and we are glad to rent a car from him. We can highly recommend this company and team(really nice people).the car was clean and new. The only thing we improve was to get floor carpets to keep car clean as your own :) we enjoy the car.
