I've used Amoita Car Rental for several trips to Portugal, including pick-up from the airport in Lisbon, along with agencies in the Faro/Algarve area (more so in Sao Bras de Alportel). I will continue to use them and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a rental agency that provides great customer service, a wide variety of vehicles, and affordable pricing. In the past, I've booked online, over the phone, and in person. All three options were seamless with prompt service and their staff are very professional. I've also been to their office in Sao Bras de Alportel and let me tell you, for a smaller city (but touristy), they know how to treat their customers, are very hospitable and have always provided Grade A service without the exorbitant pricing. Don't book with the generic rental/hire companies, go local with the guys who know what suits your travel needs.

Please be very very careful when renting car from this company. I was charged twice. Company asked me to provide my bank account but money refund was never send to me. After few months after my escalation they asked me to reclaim money via charge back which was impossible anymore. Contact with this company and employees competencies is nightmare. Company still have got my money (328eu + interest). I need go to Police office to reclaim my money!
Used Moita in Easter 22. They are expensive but for what I wanted, they provided a good service; I was able to collect the car in Sao Bras de Alportel and dropped off at the airport. The car was spotless, brand new with delivery miles only. I would use them again.
Excellent service. We have been using Amoita car rental for over twenty years and never had any problems. The cars are clean and either new or low mileage. We always recommend our friends to try Amoita rentals and we haven't lost a friendship yet !!!!!
