TERRIBLE! If you don't arrive at the airport at exactly the time you indicated as pick-up time (for instance due to a slight delay with the flight) they will cancel the booking, take your prepaid money, and will not be reachable by phone or email (there are no offices at the airport)! It's a SCAM!!!!! Avoid at all cost!
Nao recomendo em nenhuma hipotese. Processo burocratico extremamente limitado e com poucas opcoes. A intransigencia e o modus operandi da empresa e, mesmo que o cliente apresente argumentos da sua falha, ainda serao lesados por isso. Nao consegui a viatura que havia reservado pois apresentei um cartao de credito virtual, associado a minha conta bancaria, e que foi recusado pela empresa, mesmo nao constando a informacao de que deveria ser um cartao fisico nos Termos e Condicoes da empresa. O valor pago pela reserva nao me foi estornado.
I don't recommend it under any circumstances. Extremely limited bureaucratic process with few options. Intransigence is the company's modus operandi and, even if the customer presents arguments about their failure, they will still be harmed by it. I was unable to get the vehicle I had reserved because I presented a virtual credit card, associated with my bank account, and it was refused by the company, even though there was no information that it should be a physical card in the company's Terms and Conditions. The amount paid for the reservation was not refunded to me.

Agencia de aluguer para esquecer !!! Reservamos um veiculo com cadeira de bebe em Marco para o dia 21 de Julho de 2019. Apos a chegada e depois de mais de uma hora de espera no "Meeting Point" com uma crianca cada vez mais dificil, aprendemos que o carro nao estava equipado com uma cadeira de crianca. Tentando manter uma atitude positiva (o erro e humano), confirmei a necessidade absoluta de ter uma cadeira, uma vez que o meu filho tem apenas 2 anos e aguardei para que a jovem mulher encontra uma solucao. Tinha obviamente contactado a agencia uns dias antes para confirmar este pedido ao qual ela responde que eu possa ter falado com alguem fora da empresa First Rent A Car. No entanto, consigo perceber uma das suas conversas telefonicas durante a qual ela admite o erro e diz que nao tinha visto o pedido. Depois dela desligar, diz-me que o contrato afirma que a cadeira e "conforme disponibilidade". Claro, a crianca tambem e "conforme disponibilidade". Talvez eu tivesse de o deixar sozinho em Franca com 2 anos ! A aventura nao acaba por ai. Tem a coragem de me pressionar porque "ela tem outros clientes" e diz-me para eu ir comprar uma cadeira no centro commercial mais perto. Na ausencia de qualquer outra solucao e devido a minha mae estar presente e poder ficar com a crianca, aceito esta proposta, removendo os 98eur da cadeira da reservacao inicial. Como de costume, a recepcao do veiculo e feita rapidamente em frente as "Chegadas" em condicoes de luminosidade e pressao que deixam a desejar. Finalmente vem o devolvimento. Ai, e outra hitoria. O check out e feito por 2 pessoas num parque de estacionamento vazio com luz natural. E tadaaaa, um pequeno impacto na cavidade da asa traseira direita do C3. Este impacto e cobrado por 101eur. No final-98eur mas +101 de dano... Coincidencia? Vou pedir para ver as fotos tiradas no dia 21 de Julho, para compara-las com aquelas feitas durante a restituicao e, se necessario, vamos protestar contra a fatura.
Rental agency to forget!!! We reserved a vehicle with a baby seat in March for July 21, 2019. Upon arrival and after more than an hour of waiting at the "Meeting Point" with an increasingly difficult child, we learned that the car was not equipped with a child seat. Trying to maintain a positive attitude (the error is human), I confirmed the absolute need to have a chair, since my son is only 2 years old and I waited for the young woman to find a solution. I had obviously contacted the agency a few days before to confirm this request to which they replied that I may have spoken to someone outside of the First Rent A Car company. However, I can understand one of her telephone conversations during which she admits the error and says that she had not seen the order. After she hangs up, she tells me that the contract states that the chair is "as available". Of course, the child is also "according to availability". Maybe I would have had to leave him alone in France when he was 2 years old! The adventure doesn't end there. She has the courage to pressure me because "she has other clients" and tells me to go buy a chair at the nearest shopping center. In the absence of any other solution and due to my mother being present and able to stay with the child, I accept this proposal, removing the 98eur for the chair from the initial reservation. As usual, the vehicle is received quickly in front of the "Arrivals" in light and pressure conditions that leave something to be desired. Finally comes the refund. Oh, that's another story. Check out is done by 2 people in an empty car park with natural light. And tadaaaa, a small impact on the right rear wing cavity of the C3. This impact is charged at 101eur. In the end-98eur but +101 damage... Coincidence? I will ask to see the photos taken on July 21st, to compare them with those taken during the refund and, if necessary, we will protest the invoice.
Horrivel....!!! Aluguei uma viatura nesta companhia e fiquei desapontado ,carro muito sujo, quando me entregarao o carro estava na reserva com pouco combustivel...retirao dinheiro da conta sem avisar...muito cuidado com esta impresa querem e roubar os turistas....depois cobrao por cada dia um x para portagens no dia de assinar o contrato... e depois de entregar o carro retirao da conta sem qualquer aviso o dinheiro das portagens...que supostamente ja esta pago...muito coidado first rent e um desastre eziste muitas boas rentcars em portugal. nao recomendo fist rent a ninguem...COIDADO.
Horrible....!!! I rented a car from this company and was disappointed, the car was very dirty, when they gave it to me the car was on reserve with little fuel...they took money from the account without warning...be very careful with this company they want to steal from tourists.... then I charge an x for tolls on the day of signing the contract for each day... and after delivering the car, the money for tolls is withdrawn from the account without any warning... which is supposedly already paid... very careful first rent and a disaster you created many good things rentcars in Portugal. I don't recommend fist rent to anyone... THOUGHTFUL.
One of the worst places to rent cars in Portugal. Every year I rent a car in Portugal, to visit the family and enjoy my vacations, but outside of all the times I've been in Portugal and rented the car, this was the worst. I intended to write this a while ago, but it was still being deleted. So first, when I rented the car with a black Fiat Punto from that company in July and August, I realized how suspicious it was. Firstly they do not even have an office at Yeh Airport as they claim to be they have to drive as an hour away just to get there. I had to wait up to an hour to get their car. Second, when they gave me the car, everything was scratched, crumpled and dirty. And that's not even the worst part when I started the car mess that did not have gas without gas I mean as if it was in the reserve and at any point it can run out of gas. I had to drive on the road without gas and where the car can stop at any moment to find a gas station. While I was at the gas station, I saw that the radio was not working and I noticed that there was not even a hearing. Another thing I noticed is how the window taps were all damaged and I the car had no water to squirm on the windshield to help clean it. During the holidays, I had to deal with a horrible car. As I will deliver it, they promised to meet me and I even waited an hour and they did not even show up so I had to leave the car because they were not showing up and I was going to miss my flight. I called them up 30 times and they did not even respond. When I got off my 8-hour flight, I received an email saying that I was being charged for not having gas in the car, but they gave me the car because I did not have gas and they were being hypocritical, another thing they did was me charge for all damages that were already in the car and marked on the paper. They did not care about anything. It took more than two weeks to contact me and they kept changing the price of the charges they were charging me to increase it and increase it. I was basically being mailed by this company being accused of something I did not do. In the end, I just thought to myself that there is no more reason to argue with them because it is not worth wasting my time. My main point of this is not renting this company and avoid it at all costs. This is not the full story, this is just a short summary of it. Please be wise when renting and avoiding companies like these!
Um dos piores locais de aluguel de carros em Portugal. Todos os anos alugo um carro em Portugal, para visitar a familia e gozar as minhas ferias, mas fora de todas as vezes que estive em Portugal e aluguei o carro, este foi o pior. Eu pretendia escrever isso ha um tempo, mas continuava sendo deletado. Entao, primeiro, quando aluguei o carro com um Fiat Punto preto dessa empresa em julho e agosto, percebi o quanto era suspeito. Em primeiro lugar eles nem sequer tem um escritorio no aeroporto Yeh como eles dizem ser que eles tem que dirigir como uma hora de distancia apenas para chegar la. Eu tive que esperar ate uma hora para receber o carro deles. Em segundo lugar, quando me deram o carro, tudo estava arranhado, amassado e sujo. E isso nao e mesmo a pior parte quando eu comecei a bagunca do carro que nao tinha gas sem gas quero dizer como se estivesse na reserva e a qualquer momento ele pode ficar sem gas. Eu tive que dirigir na estrada sem gas e onde o carro pode parar a qualquer momento para encontrar um posto de gasolina. Enquanto estava no posto de gasolina, vi que o radio nao estava funcionando e notei que nao ha nem mesmo uma atena. Outra coisa que eu notei e como os bebedouros da janela estavam todos danificados e eu o carro nao tinha agua para esguichar no para-brisa para ajudar a limpa-lo. Durante a duracao das ferias, tive que lidar com um carro horrivel. Como eu vou entrega-lo, eles prometeram me encontrar e eu ate esperei uma hora e eles nem apareceram entao eu tive que deixar o carro porque eles nao estavam aparecendo e eu ia sentir falta do meu voo . Liguei para eles ate 30 vezes e eles nem sequer responderam. Quando eu desci do meu voo de 8 horas, recebi um e-mail dizendo que estava sendo acusado por nao ter gasolina no carro, mas eles me deram o carro por nao ter gasolina e eles estavam sendo hipocritas, outra coisa que eles fizeram foi me cobrar por todos os danos que ja estavam no carro e marcados no papel. Eles nao se importavam com nada. Levou mais de duas semanas para entrar em contato comigo e eles continuaram mudando o preco das cobrancas que eles estavam me cobrando para aumenta-lo e aumenta-lo. Eu estava basicamente sendo enviado pelo correio por esta empresa sendo acusada de algo que eu nao fiz. No final, eu apenas pensei comigo mesma que nao ha mais razao para discutir com eles, porque nao vale a pena perder meu tempo. Meu ponto principal disso, nao e alugar desta empresa e evita-la a todo custo. Esta nao e a historia completa, isso e apenas um pequeno resumo dela. Por favor, seja prudente ao alugar e evitar empresas como estas!

If you travel to Oporto Portugal don't even thing to rent a car for this company call First Rent a car After I rent in 2 mouths in advance I pay $150 for deposit I was waiting over 2 hours to someone came and meet to meet Finally someone cames and give a car with no even a contract it was a no oficial document well I rent the car on July 24 to September 5 the told me to returning the car on some whehousse on the 5 the do a paper for me to turn in for circumstances I call and told them the I need to return the car on September the 2 about 12;00pm I go to turn in the place First rent no one no what the are and also no office after looking for in hour the told. E the live the car in a place is call Park for you the cost me $5 euros and the told me to turn in my paper work I did this no one for First rent it was there I call them told them to live the car there I say I'm in the Park hotel in the aereport and I need to do and finish the contract no one came in in 2 hours no one came o call me o call the hotel where I was to September 6 the was time to get my plane the charge on mi card $3,444.75 I lose my deposit today is the day the this peaple send me a e-mail with my paper work really a nightmare PLEASE don't used this company bc everyone has same problem you never get you deposit and also my bill it was $3122 and charme me $3444 plus my $150 deposit I make a dispute on my credit car cheaper sometimes came to be more expensive Ithe customer services don't no exists in this company all what I travel I never have a situacion like this
