McRent Lisboa in Sintra

Arrived a bit after 12.00 for a rental made directly with Mc Rent after a 5h flight.. only to be told that despite our quote being for 11.30, the delivery can only be done at 15.00 because the business closes between 13.00 and 15.00 and a pick up can't be done in half an hour time. The employees however had 45 min to spend arguing that it is usual practice, no matter if we were not informed of it during our email exchanges always mentioning 11.30am ! So here we are with 2 toddlers in front of the employees shutting the gate, eager to grab their lunch. What a welcoming! In our 15 years rental experiences? A first! A lack of transparency never seen.

We rented the compact plus rv and spent 10 days visiting Portugal. Our camper was in fantastic condition and the team made sure we understood how to use everything. The return process was smooth and I'd highly recommend renting from McRent. I know I'll be back!

We rented for 21 days and had a great trip around Portugal. Great service from the team at McRent (thank you Monica!). Our camper was new and in great condition/working order. A few small issues at the beginning of the rental that were promptly addressed.

One week, 4 people 1 motor-house. The pick-up part was a little bit slow. We had to wait for the people in front of us and we had the impression it took to much time. We arrive at 15:00 and we left after approximately 3h. For the pick-up we had to watch a video and we spent around 45 minutes to verify the car for any damage and to learn how to use the Car. To keep in mind for the pick-up: * they don t offer full coverage * they need 1500 euros for deposit that they give it back if no damage was done to the car * 12 euros for the possibility to use highways without stopping each time(optional) For the drop off, it was really smoother. we arrive at the 10:00 and at 10:45 everything was done. Ask for the nice lady with curly blond hair. She was really nice !!!

We rented an Auto-Caravan and traveled to south of Portugal. When we got stuck McRent's Corina was amazing and quickly found a solution for us by sending Vitor with a new Auto-Caravan that arrived after 3.5 hours! Great service and kind staff, thanks a lot!

Rented a camper at Parracho Store / McRent. Handover was good and all employees were nice. Till end of our vacation we recognized a lot of smell. After some time we recognized that we had a water leak and mould in the bottom / floor of the car. We called McRent and they told us to come back because we were near to the station.We had to cancel our vacation 1 day earlier. The stuff was very unfriendly and the rest 2 hours in lunch break. She told us that we could be lucky that she is opening for us.... So no chance to discuss a customer friendly way to handle that issue. for sure there is probably no failure on mcrent side about the water because the vehicle was completely new. So it seems to be a construction failure from beginning on. But the issue handling and customer service was very bad!
