I have already rented a car for one month, using now for almost 10 days , very decent staff , flexible and good price. I asked to replace the car i have with another one that have bluetooth and car was replaced few hours after my request I am a happy customer and for sure i will always use same car rental company THANK YOU Brono for the high level of customer experience you and your team provide
So yep ... I do like a review or two when the fancy takes me .... However rarely for the functional and product based items in my travels. Specific surprised me ... We enquired through my hotel at 9.00am for a rental to take me up to Nazare for the day and drop back at the airport. 11.00 a brand new card and two nice guys were waiting in the lobby. I was off by 11.20 and then they were waiting at the airport at 4.00. Another nice guy ...drop off two mins from checkin and we were done.... A well oiled machine and I strongly recommend
This is the main office, so they don't do rentals out of it very often. It's a way from public transit, but easy to reach by taxi. The staff was relaxed and very helpful. The van they provided for our large family was easy to drive and affordable. We appreciated that they picked up the car at our rental house for a reasonable fee, saving us having to drop it off. We'll probably rent from them again.
Just completed my rental with Specific and could not be happier! No hassle at all. These guys were great and dropped off AND picked up the vehicle from our apartment for a small fee. The prices were also very competitive. I will surely use them again on our return visit.
Worst company ever. Do not trust them! My car broke down on the second day. I called them up and they said I needed to buy some ad blue and fill it up. For starters the ad blue is located in the bonnet so i had to find where this was. No help whatsoever from the company. Furthermore i paid 20 euros for the adblue which was not refunded to me so an additional expense. These guys should have serviced the vehicle before renting it out! I also had to pay 10gbp to secure the car and this money hasnt been refunded to me. I've tried to call Andre from the car hire company numerous times but he doesnt answer the calls. Before renting he was very keen to call me until he received the money. Now I've not heard from him since. They are a very disloyal and untrustworthy company. I would sincerely recommend to avoid them at all costs! I wish I could give 0 stars as this is what they deserve.
Great car, exactly what I wanted with the short notice. Car delivery to the hotel was at no cost for us. Price is very affordable compared to the airport fees. Service and communication style was great, very polite, and accurate expectation management. Absolutely recommend!
Good experience overall! Good car. Good service, very convenient delivery to/from Parking 1 at Lisbon Airport even if it costs a little extra but overall price is still cheaper than others. Make sure you have a working cell phone upon arrival - that's how you get to collect your car at Lisbon Airport, they call you! P.S. be careful reading the contract/voucher as there are many POSSIBLE charges/fees that they might add to the rental price: admin fee, cross boarder fee, carwash fee, out-of-hours drop-off fee, etc. P.S.1. also, it would be great if they supplied "Via Verde" electronic toll tag...without it, it makes things a bit more complicated, especially for paying electronic tolls collected in the last few days before you fly out. I believe they do it on purpose so you are stuck paying admin fees later on.
