My wife and I are from the US and are retired and live here in Viana do Castelo. We do not have a car and so occasionally we rent a vehicle for errands and small day trips. We have found the staff and vehicles at Hertz in Viana to be exceptional. The check-in and returns are always quick. The cars are newer, clean and always smell fresh. But most importantly, Paula the manager, and Ana, are always professional, polite and friendly. Just the Best!

Well, I had a terrible experience with Hertz, in addition to the loss, I felt like an idiot. The inspection of the vehicle is done using photos that are not even taken at the pickup location, there is no proof that the photos were even taken on the same day, in my case it was even worse, the photos presented to prove the supposed damage, were taken at such angles that you couldnt even see if the damage wasnt already there. Anyway, dont even bother responding, after all, youre going to say the same old nonsense, which youre not to blame because I should have seen it and the same old nonsense, youre just going to wash your hands. But rest assured that I will never use the services of this company again and I will make sure that no one I know uses these services either.

A vistoria ao veiculo e feita atraves de fotos que nem sao tiradas no local da retirada, nao tem nenhuma prova que as fotos sequer foram tiradas no mesmo dia, no meu caso foi ainda pior, as fotos apresentadas para comprovar os supostos danos, foram tiradas em angulos que nem se da pra ver se os danos ja nao estavam la. Enfim, nem se deem ao trabalho de responder, afinal, voces vao falar as mesmas baboseiras de sempre, que nao sao culpados porque eu deveria ter visto e as mesmas asneiras de sempre, vao simplesmente lavar as maos. Mas tenham a certeza que jamais usarei os servicos dessa empresa novamente e farei questao que nenhuma pessoa que eu conheca use tambem esses servicos.
